1..Is Pirate Night the only special dress night?

2..Re: Castaway Cay excursions
They show a catamaran sight seeing cruise but no way to reserve-
does that mean it is no longer available?

We haven't heard much from DVC as to what they have planned for our cruise. As of right now, pirate night is scheduled for Monday. There is no formal night that we are aware of, as they don't do them on the shorter cruises. And, IMO, it's a little late to spring that on us so I'm hoping there won't be.

I would bet that if you are not able to book the excursion you want, it's already full. I have seen many people suggest making your first stop onboard to guest services as I've read that they hold some reservations back to be booked then.

We'll see you on board. We've love to see you post more often.

Aren't you all glad that tomorrow is rolling around so you don't have to see this again? I promise, I won't be a "nag" after that but I know that some people don't go back and re-read the previous pages and I don't want to miss anyone.



Important Dining Poll:

For anyone who may not go back and read previous pages.

For those of us who have decided to link with others from this thread for dining, I'm going to take a poll as to what rotation you would prefer so that I can note that to DCL.

Here are the options:

1. Triton's 5:30 This would be TAAP
2. Animator's 5:45 This would be APPT
3. Parrot Cay 6:00 This would be PTTA
4. I don't have a preference

If you could please post your preference here, I will pick up the results.

I don't want any hard feelings, so whichever rotation has the most votes is what I'm going to request.

Keep in mind this does not mean we will get this rotation, it's only a request.

ConleyFam is a #4. We've never been on the cruise before so we don't know the difference from one place to eat or the anothers. We trust you experienced folks (of course, that could be a mistake ya never know!)

A couple years back, we found some money of my Mom's this way. It truly does work. It was funds that we didn't realize she had around the time that she had her stroke and never even thought they were missing. So, check it often, you just never know.

I just found my Dad's name out there and e-mailed it to my Mom! I wonder what is out there?

Morning everyone - I'm am back in reality land (home). Came home to a nasty storm that hit Michigan yesterday.
Looks like I have lots and lots of catching up to do - as much as I tried to read a bit when I was gone, I'll never know everything that was posted.

We had over 5 inches of rain at our house since Monday everything is saturated and water in a lot of ditches. The FD has been kind of busy and I have been going to quite a few meetings. Sorry about being a little less active but the next couple weeks will be real hectic around here. I work the FD today, 24 on the ambulance tomorrow then OT covering Harvest Days in Dwight on Sat. After that we are going to the friends and family sale at Michaels. Sunday FD. Monday 24 on the bulance. Tuesday Budget and Appropriations meeting and then Board of trustees meeting, my first ones that I HAVE to go to. Weds FD. Thurs 24 'bulance, Friday grandparent breakfast at our grandaughters school then setup for our annual FD chicken BBQ that will be ALL DAY Saturday (its our only fund raiser and we serve about 2700 chicken dinners in 7 hours) Sunday FD and cleanup from Saturday. I THINK I am off on Monday the 25th

YIKES it looks bad when I type it all out like that.

Anyway I hope you all have great days today!

On the way home from the airport, I had to stop by and see Christopher and he was in a photo mood - the first pic I took while he was saying "mmum-mum"

I was glad to see he remembered me - I thought he would - can you believe he's 6 months old already?

What an adorable baby. He's growing so fast. And of course he remembers you. I'm sure you spoil the dickens out of him.

I guess we are voting for CHOICE # 2 We liked the idea of dressing as pirates in Parrot Cay last year and would love to do it again. Just not sure pirate party would be as much fun in Tritons!

Does this mean breakfast the last day is staggered like dinner? I thought it was each restaurant having a set time for all diners but last year was an exception because of the hurricane and re-routing to Fort Lauderdale. Does anyone know for sure?

According to the Navigators I saw from the 9/3/2006 4-day cruise it shows both dinners and breakfasts have staggered times.

We're voting for option #2 since it looks to me that breakfast on the last morning in Triton's is at 7:00am while breakfast in Animator's Palate is at 6:30am.

I have spent 3 FULL days and 2 nights at school this week. Tonight was open house and most my volunteer packets were handed out! YEAH! Now I get to relax a little.

Tomorrow I am having lunch with a fellow DISer from Vancouver. They are DVC members and I hope if there is mention of another member cruise that they try to snag a room next time. Great family! Lunch should be fun!
