Hey Robin - yep, WhimSoDoodle is my LSS of choice. It's only about 10 minutes from me. You're friends with Ginger?!?!?! That's SO cool. Yeah, I got notice of her classes at WSD next week, but unfortunately, Chris has a meeting that night, so I don't have a babysitter for the girls since my mom works nights. She's also going to be at Ruban Rouge, which is a little more of a drive, but a GREAT store.
Yeah, Ginger's really fun. We first "met" on another message board - that no longer exists - but we really got to know each other when we were in a dorm together and roomed together at CKU-Nashville a couple years ago. We kept in touch and then she invited me to join up with her in Las Vegas for the debut of her line. It was a lot of fun working Memory Trends, though very tiring since I was nearly 7 months pg at the time.

Robin

Thanks. I wish I could take the credit, but I actually saw - gosh I can't remember who - had one from there and thought the same thing. I love that there's a choice of Disney themed tickers to choose from!

Good morning. We have rain here...big surprise, eh? I got inspired this am and made a ticker too! Hope it doesn't make my signature too long now.

About the banana boats...when did they make them so they carry so many? Last time we went they only carried 8 and that was alot..they couldn't go very fast if full. I really wish I could do this but at this point I Will be happy just to go. I think my days of banana boats rides and roller coasters are done :sad2: I'm pretty happy just knitting and swimming so it's just a trade off.

Have a good day , all!

Morning all :sunny: It looks like it's going to be a beautiful day around here!

The kids are hot to trot and go fishing again tonight.

Steve, how was the fishing up in Canada???? I haven't seen any pictures yet? We're thinking about a fishing trip for next summer up that way and I'd love to see what you caught.

In the meantime, here's Cameron's catch from last night. A bit bigger than the one he caught while camping.

GREAT JOB, CAMERON!!!! Did you guys eat it??? :lmao:

Mike's fishing trip to Canada is coming up next month. He goes with my dad, my brother and one other person (tends to change every year) He actually just mentioned that he doesn't want to drive this year---he gets stuck driving every year and then, like Steve's situation, no one helps with the driving. :(

Obviously someone didnt read the trip report. We caught 875 fish between three boats. Mostly Northern Pike between 14 and 25 ins but many were bigger than that. As for pics it may take a few more days
I didnt take the digital and I have a few more snapshot on the last roll BUT I PROMISE to post them.

Thanks Amy and Mary for confirming it's the 24th - I cannot wait!

I really want to get a mani and pedi on th ship so I have nice nails for the wedding. Has anyone done this before and is it worth it?

Tina - so glad you are back!

Cindy - I am so glad the manager took the right approach with the "incident" - that's wonderful!

Diana :rotfl2: with my luck I'll end up in the drink and you guys won't let me back on.

So who's going to be the official BB photographer???

Have a great weekend everyone - we're off to WDW for our wedding planning session tomorrow!

Julie, I hope you and Matt have a great trip. Between the cruise and the wedding, you both must be SO excited!! :dance3:

Roxann - got your info for the banana boat. Just waiting for a few more. This is going to be such fun!

Julie - hope you and Matt have a great time at WDW planning for your special day!

I see Cindy is helping her friend Mrs. Lips sell fish extenders again. :rotfl:

I should be asking her for a commission. :cool2:

Maybe it's time she reappears in my signature. :thumbsup2

Does everyone who hasn't cruised before know what a fish extender is?

In case you don't, here's one listed on ebay by ALL of our friend -- Mrs.Lips:

http://cgi.ebay.com/Yellow-MICKEY-Mouse-5-Pocket-Hanging-Wall-Organizer-New_W0QQitemZ280004827008QQihZ018QQcategoryZ37635QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Several of us bought these from Mrs.Lips last year off of ebay. We then hung them off of the fish outside our cabin doors -- with the help of those hard to break plastic thingy's that a lot of toys are secured to the box so they didn't walk away. Then we'd leave little notes in them for our fellow cruises.

It's kind of fun and mine will be packed come October. :cool1:

I did the pedi on the last member cruise. I thought that it was nice, and they gave quite the leg massage, but for me, it was a bit much to spend. I'll probably just have my pedi done locally before we leave. But, for you, since you're just going back to WDW and going to have the wedding, it's probably worth it.

Now, for the manicure, I've heard some not so great things about them on the cruise. I've heard many people say that their polish came off within a day or two. I didn't experience that with the pedi, but I figured that I would mention it.

You just gotta love Mrs.Lips and those fish extenders. We still have ours, and bring it with us on every cruise now. Ours is pink and I've seen her also have them in blue, green & yellow (like the one on eBay now). I'm sure if she has more, she'll put them up if you ask her.

We have a green one we'll be bringing on the cruise with us. As with last year Mark will have lime green zip ties to attach them :thumbsup2

I don't purchase through ebay anymore. Is there another way to purchase Fish Extenders through Mrs. Lips?
