Hey I heard on one of the podcasts that the Black Pearl will be docked at Castaway Cay, is this true? Just me being curious

yes and no.

it's not the Black Pearl. It's the Flying Dutchman....it's Davy Jones' ship.

And it's there now!!

Nah, I just wish I could have been MORE helpful to you back then. Just didn't think about some of the other aspects. Which I need to work on making that top prioirty!

Hello all...Sorry I haven't been around much...things were crazy for about a week and a half.....my aunt, who is also my boss, was sick and in the hospital, but doing ok now. So I was busy running around doing all that needed to be done for the office. Then on Thursday I flew into Orlando to meet a friend and his 2 sons to drive to Ft Myers beach for the 4th holiday. Had a great weekend! Flew home this morning and now here I am back at work! Hope all is well with everyone!

Hey Amy, do you ever shop at Whim-So-Doodle? A friend of mine, the designer of Gin-X, is teaching some classes there on Tuesday. I've never actually taken any of her classes, but I hear she's great. I was with her in Las Vegas a couple years ago when she launched her product line, though.

Hey Robin - yep, WhimSoDoodle is my LSS of choice. It's only about 10 minutes from me. You're friends with Ginger?!?!?! That's SO cool. Yeah, I got notice of her classes at WSD next week, but unfortunately, Chris has a meeting that night, so I don't have a babysitter for the girls since my mom works nights. She's also going to be at Ruban Rouge, which is a little more of a drive, but a GREAT store.

Mary - Great news on the banana boat!

Karen - Loved the article! I wondered why it seemed like we were hearing about a lot of incidents. I wasnt aware they were required to report it now. A friend of a friend used to work at Disney and when she worked there she said no one died at Disney since they supposedly wouldn't pronounce until after they got the person off property.
I also really enjoyed Mike's "Doesn't anyone play board games?" article. I can proudly say that this household does!

Boy I hope the Flying Dutchmen is still at CC come October. Please Disney Gods hear my prayers and grant them~

Banana Boat News! I just got off the phone with the lady at DCL. She has two boats reserved for us for the first day on the island. Ladies boat will be at 1:00 - mens boat at 1:30 - she's confirming that it will be the same boat for both so those of you with children can hand them off.

Now what I will need if you want on one of the boats is you full name, cabin number and reservation number. I will forward those on to her and the ticket will be waiting in your cabin and charged directly to your room. I'd like to get her the list by this Friday (can you believe booking for concierge is this Sunday)! I'll also be pming everyone I have on the list when i get home.

Yeah - this is going to be such fun.

We made it to Hershey this after noon and spent the evening at Chocolate World. Seriously--Chocolate World = Heaven. That place is soo cool and my sugar was going through the roof just walking around in there. Tomorrow we're heading to the Park for the day because Emma's already seen the roller coasters and begging to go. Daredevil 2 year old. I can't wait til she's tall enough for Splash Mountain!!

Wow - great response so far on the banana boat.
Roxann and MaryJ since you both said you were sending info I didn't bother sending you a pm. Please pm me your info in the morning.

I've sent pm's out to Stacy, Carol, Curt/Karen, and Tina.

Cindy - can you give me Gail's info as I know she and John want to do it.

Everyone else I've heard from.

If there is anyone else who wants to go let me know. The girls boat is pretty full at 15 (they say they can take 20) but they guys only have 8 right now.

What she told me was that they may open up bookings once we are onboard to fill the rest of the spots if needed. I've seen really full boats go out and not so full so I'm not worried. We're going to have a blast!

No boarding. It is a definate movie prop. Word on the main board is that it will be there until early 2007 so we'll see it!
