They are probably telling you that she will need a full coverage crown when she hits about 18. I hope she does not need a root canal. Sometimes the dentist will put composite on the tooth and just wait and see if a root canal is needed later. Good luck! Not something you wanted to deal with right after surgery I am sure.
Thanks Diana, that's good to know. I have to put sunscreen on Ian before camp and I really hate it. It gets all over me, and so often he gets it on his hands too. I just wish there were more combo sunscreen/bug repelents to choose from.Diana Lyn said:Speaking of sunscreen....I bought the new Coppertone Spray sunscreen and it rocks!!You should totally get it for Cameron because 1--he can totally do it himself 2--it's fun to spray on, so more likely to be applied! A friend of mine had the Banana Boat brand side by side to my Coppertone and mine was way easier to spray, was a lot more of a fine mist and required absolutely no rubbing at all, so no junk on your hands.

The hardest part was the IV they have to put in for sedation. They "missed" the first time and being an ex-medical technologist I don't have a lot of patience for that! The sedation hardly did anything I think, I didn't even feel sleepy or dizzy or anything. Then they put in novacaine in your spine and then they put the steroid in. It stays in your body for 3 weeks and is supposed to reduce inflamation. I hate this as I'm a "earthy crunchy" person that doesn't even do motrin or tylenol unless I'm in really bad pain. I use homeopathics mostly and accupuncture and supplements like fish oil. So this is a
major thing for me. But the pain was bad enough to keep me from work and I have to get back there so I did what seemed necessary. Probably all more than you want or need to know...Main thing..procedure went well and I'm doing OK.
IleneF said:Hey, thanks everyone for all the kind get well wishes, they sure are appreciated.Bright spot in the day....two packages! One with my mickey chandelier...and hubby put it up already (he's being really good to me
) and one with the disney luggage. For free shipping everything sure came fast. The luggage isn't quite as rugged as I'd have liked but for $35 for 3 pieces I'm sure not complaining and Mickey is just too cute on it, and I love the red color, more people have red these days but it still will stick out a bit. They could have put mickey luggage tags on it but I have my own so no problem. I have a picture of the chandelier but I have to figure out how to attach a picture here, not now but I promise I will.
BTW, thanks for reminding me about waitlisting and also the "springs" section of SSR. I called member services today to waitlist at BCV for Aug and Oct. and to request Springs section of SSR for Aug.
