Well, lo and behold, Emily got sick at school today. So, now she's at home in bed. Thankfully, this stomach bug only lasts 24 hours, then it's over. And, she's old enough to know where to get sick, so the clean up is SO much less than with Madison. She keeps wanting to get up and play, and I keep sending her back to her room to watch movies & rest.

Urgggg!!! This just makes it SO much harder to get anything done around here. Oh well! At least she should be better by tomorrow afternoon. Now, if I can just make sure that Chris doesn't get it (luckily he's at work most of the time), we'll be ok.

Awwww Amy - poor Emily! At least it is today and will be over quickly. You are really going to need your cruise to relax!

Speaking of CJs, I don't know how everyone else is doing, but would you guys mind if we put off mailing until 3/1??? With Madison sick last weekend, then me getting sick, and the possibility of Emily getting sick, plus all the other stuff, I just don't know if I'm going to be able to get my CJ done before I leave on Sunday morning. If everyone else is done and ready, then I'll make sure that mine is done. Let me know!

Thanks SO much guys!!! I really needed to hear some positive, because it's getting hard around here. My house looks like a train came through, but the upside is that with Emily sick, she can't make a mess. So, if I can get it cleaned up now, then maybe it will stay somewhat cleaned up through Saturday night!!!

Oh, my oh my, I really need a vacation!!!

Just wanted to say that it's snowing like crazy here, but the snow is melting as soon as it hits the streets. Looks like maybe .5-1 inch on the grass so far. Really pretty on the trees.

I'd still rather have sun though.

Hi everyone - Well, Madison and Emily took nice, long naps today, which gave me some time to work on one of the CJs in my CKU group. I have 2 more to do!

Emily woke up, feeling OK (not great), and had some crushed ice and some saltine crackers. She wanted more, but I had to reason with her that we needed to wait to see how her tummy is doing before giving her anything else. She's back in her bed, watching TV and resting. Hopefully, she'll feel better in the morning.

Sure hope you have hit the end of the sickness. Kids are so pitiful when they are sick. Just keep remembering "I'm going on a cruise". Have a great time.

I forgot to mention that I met a fellow DVCer at my dd's baby shower. I wanted to break out in song "It's a Small World..." but I didn't. She's was on her way to OKW a few days after the shower and we're supposed to get together sometime in the near future and chat up "DVC"!!!

It's been a busy time and we're in the home stretch for the baby's arrival - less than a month to go but dd says she's ready - time will tell. But the nursery is ready and so is dd!!!

Amy I hope Emily is feeling better today! After the Wonder sails today the next time she does you'll be on her!

Mary - that's great that you got to meet another DVC'er. Sounds like you and DD are ready for the baby and what a lucky baby having you as a grandma!

MaryJ - we had snow yesterday too. Not a lot but enough to make that Mark went up to the plant last night to salt.

Last year, in March, we took a trip out to Gettysburg. We hired a guide to drive through the battle fields with us. First thing he asked Gary was whether we were DVC members as Gary had his DVC baseball hat on. Sure enough, he was also a member. I love when that happens!

It sounds like your DD and the room are ready to go. Just waiting for the stork to arrive. Do you know whether she's having a or a ?

Good morning everyone! I went in to check on Emily, since she's usually up before 8am. Anyway, she was just waking up and I asked how she was feeling. Her response "I'm still not feeling good yet". I don't know how much of that is her dramatics, and how much is that her tummy still doesn't feel good. But, I told her that she needs to stay in bed and rest, until she feels better. She did have some crackers and water last night, and she was fine. So, I'm going to try her on some other food to see how she does.

I've gotten 1 of my CJs done from my CKU group. I just need to finish the one that I was working on last night (I got about 1/2 done), and then one more. Then, I really need to get cleaning and packing.

Oh, and I was talking to our old real estate agent yesterday, the one who sold us our house. Anyway, he saw our DVC plate on the front of our Expedition and asked if we were DVC members. He said that he was too. I never knew that!! It is a small world, isn't it?!?!?!?

Can you believe it? We didn't take any pictures of our stateroom, except for at night when we got the towel animals.
