Can you believe it? We didn't take any pictures of our stateroom, except for at night when we got the towel animals.

Actually I can :) I had to dig through 2 different trips to get enough photos of the Cat 7. Oh well - worth a shot.

I guess that's something that I'll have to do in October for the SPH. And, I'll take some pics of my Cat 10 next week, in case you didn't get any by the time I get back.

Wow it is really quiet on the thread today. I guess everyone is just busy or not feeling well.

I'm here & there! I've finished up CJ #2 (only one to go), luckily they've been cool subjects (one was travel, one was life altering moments and one is simple pleasures)!!! I'm going to finish up the Simple Pleasures one tonight!

But, for now, I'm cleaning and doing laundry, while the girls are napping. And, when I come across stuff for the cruise, I've been throwing it in the suitcases that are sitting on the living room couch & ottoman.

Chris really wants to take the girls to WDW on Saturday, because they both really need a haircut. But, in order to do that, I need to get everything done today & tomorrow. Plus, the weather here in central FL is going to be quite chilly on Sunday. So, I was thinking about going down to the Disney Store to look for Disney sweatshirts for the girls.

hi everyone,

Sorry I haven't posted. I was looking at houses, etc. We've decided to wait another year.

Not much new and exciting here. Going to Tampa on Sat. then Atlanta in 2 weeks. Then the mini meet in March and then March 31st a quick visit to MA.

Is both an option?

I'm still battling this cold but I feel so much better than earlier in the week. I guess that night of going to be at 7:30 helped. If I didn't have a planned day off next week, I would have taken a sick day this week. But, me being me, I always feel it hard for parents when I am off and they have no childcare for the day.

We were out bumming this morning. We went to a place not far from us with the huge climbing tubes in one room and some small play stuff, and then in the other room, it's a huge, old fashioned carousel. The kids LOVE running around and playing as well as riding on the horses. The little ones and I sit on the bench and ride on the swan. They love the music (DISNEY, of course!! ) and all the bright lights. I love to see the smiles on their faces.

Now, almost all of them are down for naps. Walker & the 6 year old are up, as is the just turned 2 year old. I'm trying something new with him. Everyone else will go right back to sleep, not this little guy. So, I'm trying to trick him into thinking he hasn't really fallen asleep and I'll try and put him down in a little bit. Hopefully he will fall asleep. :goodvibes

Hey guys - since we never got to take our stateroom tour on SSMC05 I thought it would be fun to do a virtual stateroom tour here on the DIS. If you have pictures you can share of your stateroom head on over to the main forum and post them in the thread.

Amy - your SPH would be a great addition

Mary - your sideways 11 would also be great

Who am I kidding - any addition would be great :)

Guess what? We never took a picture of the inside of our cabin either. :guilty: The only one I have is of the gift baskets we were left when we first went into the cabin.

Good thing we'll be in the same cabin in October. I'll try to remember to get a picture then.

Well, the Rodgers saga continues!!! Chris just called me from work. He said that about an hour after lunch, his stomach started to not feel great. He probably got it from Emily from picking her up yesterday after she got sick. SO, I guess now we've all gotten it and we should be just fine for the cruise!!!

Urggggggggggg!!!

Oh Amy! At least he can take care of himself, at least we hope so. I know when DH is sick, sometimes he requires just as much TLC as the girls did. Just take comfort in knowing that you should all be well in time for your trip! :wizard: Pixie dust to Chris!

Amy, sorry Chris is sick.

But there is good news here ----- there is no one left in your family to get it and you should all be well by Sunday. pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust:

You guys are right, at least no one is left! And, it's a short-lived virus (or whatever it is). But, Chris is a self-described, baby when he's sick. So, it's going to be a tough 24 hours. Oh well, at least I'm making progress with cleaning and the beginnings of packing.

Much like Cindy - I'm not sure if I have a picture of my sideways cabin and they are great for sure! I'll look thru all the thousands of pictures when I find some time - not exactly sure when that will be.

I've been trying to keep busy - cleaning up around here while I have time. I'm sure the next few weeks will fly by.

Can't remember who asked if we know if the gran-baby will be a girl or boy but the answer is no - even with the ultrasound video they do nowadays, my son-in-law decided they didn't want to know and he didn't want anyone else to know the sex of the baby. Believe me - I ran that video on my big screen tv and my computer and tried zoom features and cannot tell. Guess we'll all know in a few weeks.

I did manage to make reservations today for a May trip - it's killing me not being able to travel right now - it's getting way too cold  here for me - I like to be driving to warmer climates!!! :moped: Also added some time for me on my Dec trip. Still have to decide if I want to use my points to stay in one of the hotels at DL when I go out there. I have a mighty busy fall coming up but I feel the need to get away soon!!!

Well back to cleaning

A few pics from our recent trip I can post more if they arent too boring for you all

Great Pictures!!
I especially love your "Babe" picture with you and the singer from Morocco. I was rolling with laughter :rotfl: when I saw that because my husband has his own "Babe" picture with her that he has on his desk at work.

It's become a running gag that every trip he gets a new picture for his desk to put in his Disney Frame!!

Love the pictures Steve - those pirates look awful familiar :rotfl2:

Great pictures!

Amy--I so sorry Chris is sick, but now you'll all be healthy for the weekend and ready to cruise! :sail: :boat:

Good morning everyone! Happy Friday!

Amy - hope Chris is feeling better. The next time the Wonder sails you will be on it!

Morning Everyone - Weeeee'reee Baaaaack

A quick 6 day sojurn to the Happiest Place on Earth. Eleventh anniversary went well... Romantic dinner at Tony's (as romantic as a room with 150 other Magic Kingdom guests can be.) Granted a little cold - but still happy.

EXPEDITION EVEREST - LOVED IT :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 Two thumbs up!!

Will definately add some more foot traffic down into the Asia area at AK.

Raglin Road - Very nice. Good decor, nice retail shop. Fish and Chips counter service on the back side and full dining inside. Didn't eat there though, Karen is vegetarian and there was no real vegetarian option. She is so sick of people saying, "We can make up a niced mixed grill or salad for you." Nice place to sit and socialize though.

Other than that - back to the grind....

Steve, welcome back. :wave2: Nice pictures. I love that sunset!! :cool1:

Welcome back to Kurt & Karen too.

I'm glad you all had great trips!!!

Amy, hopefully everyone is on the mend in your house. It won't be long and you'll be sailing away. :sail:

I am so glad it's the weekend. Maybe it will give me the chance to finally kick this cold I've been battling all week long. And, tomorrow I'm heading over to Mary's to work on my circle journal. I'm looking forward to spending time with a friend and chatting "in real life".

Gary, Cameron & Walker are off for a weekend of camping so it will be quiet around here. I plan tonight to get a headstart on my circle journal (yep, I haven't even started it  ), I'm very intimated by it so I'll be looking at the pages everyone has posted here to jump start me. I'm certain, once I get going, it will fall into place. I guess it's the unknown that's a bit scary to me and wondering if everyone is going to laugh when they see my book. I know you won't, it's just something I have to get over.

Chat tonight? Is anyone planning on being there? :teeth:
