No we were in building 63. We had lights on the front railing ,windows and 6 foot tree on the balcony with rope lights and bows and more lights on the patio doors! ;)

Oh, maybe it was building 63 and not 23 that I saw the tree on the balcony. I do remember it was the end room next to the main road. We only drove by a zillion times, you would think I could remember what building it was.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

We returned last night from a great weekend trip to WDW to spend NYE. Friday we did the CP at Epcot - oh my this was amazing and the food at Chef's de France was spectacular as well. Saturday we eat breakfast at Cape May Cafe (love those characters) and then went to Epcot for the day. It was great (ok well not all of it as the food in morrocco did not like Matt at all and he was sick in the middle of the night). We stayed through the fireworks and yes, they do have a special NYE ending that includes a countdown around the world showcase. They highlight each country and state when they celebrated and then that country has special fireworks. The ending is the American Pavilion (I have photos on the camera at midnight that I need to upload) and is awesome - then they go back to the lagoon for the finale. We were on the lagoon between the US and Italy and although we did have a slight tree in front of us we also could see the MGM fireworks going off. Epcot's clock appeared to be a bit behind in their countdown but still very worth it. Sunday we slept in, went to MGM, ate at Sci Fi and then took naps so that we could return to MGM for the lights and venture to the MK for EMH till 2 am (ok it was open till 3 we made it till 2).

Hope your 2006 is magical!

YAY I got one too!

Question for you scrappers. Anyone have the CIS XXL tote? Its about time for me to get one since I finally have enough stuff.
I don't have the CIS XXL, but the next one down. I decided against the XXL, because I heard that when it's full, it's too heavy to even lift. So, I didn't get it.

Chris - sounds like you guys had a very festive time. What fun to have a full tree out on your balcony. I'm sure it brought great joy to many passing through.

Julie - sounds like you and Matt had a great time as well. I really miss not seeing the Candlelight Processional this year. We'll have to try and come down for it next year.

I just checked and we got the e-mail too. Yeah! Our first update! I'm sure Mark will upload to the site in the next couple of days.

We got our email today too, but I'm having trouble with the My DVC page with the countdown clock and some of the script. On the date selection, I could only select '1' for the day. And it looked like there were seme script errors on my page. I sent MS an email about it.

Chris - sorry about the accident. Those Atlanta roads are crazy. I know, even though I live in NY, the company I work for is based in Alpharetta, so I am their frequently. I hate GA-400. Thank goodness the hotel I stay at is right next door to my office.

Hey all, and Happy New year.....

I will admit I have been buried at work and have been dreading the 500 gazillion pages to catch upon, so I guess I will just ask if I have missed anything... maybe someone will take pity on me and give me an update.....My Dis Time is quite limitted now, at least until inventory is over with next week, and I will be trying to keep up....

\BTW, Robin got the e-mail, I didn't.....

Oh well...

See you around...
:jumping2:

Welcome back David. We were talking about you in chat when someone mentioned they hadn't seen you post for a while. I can imagine the holiday season must be a crazy one for you.

The biggest thing we talked about while you were gone were t-shirt designs. If you have any ideas or designs we'd love to see them!

We received the 1st email too. :Pinkbounc

I just wish it would have said we sail next week. ;) Good to know, though, that we are definately on the list. I feel more official that way. :cool1:

Good to see you David! This thread is kind of like a soap opera (in more ways than one) you can not watch for weeks and tune back in and be caught right up!

I didn't get an email! It's weird because I always got all the other cruise news emails from DVC. Thankfully, Amy sent me a copy. Thanks, Amy!!

Thanks! I never even thought of having to lift it, lol.

Cindy you remembered right! We went on Thusrday instead ! :confused3 We were eating dinner and remembered , that we were to eat at Cape May on Christmas! :rotfl2: That's what straight thru driving does to the brain!

At least you made it there this trip. One of my all time favorites. We'll be there in March. I'm looking forward to it -- as much as it's my favorite, it's my children's least favorite. Go figure. :confused3

How cool is that!!! :cool1:

Sorry, Mary, I couldn't resist. I just borrowed your line!!!

Better than "borrowing" your ebay listing. Can you believe someone had the audacity to copy not one but two of my listings --- picture, words, paragraphs, everything!!! The only change she made was to some of the color.

No problems, though, it didn't take ebay long to pull her auctions. :teeth:

Hope it's not someone on this thread. :earseek:
