Anyway--I'm watching the West Wing and I'm already too sad watching John Spencer....I may need to change the channel. Especially when they say things like "You are looking at the next vice president".

Oh we watched that too - the next few episodes are going to be so sad as we wait to see how they deal with his passing.

Ok but the thong photo was funny!

What's dumb is like 10 people I know keep asking me to list stuff for them and I keep saying, it's so easy you can do it yourself, you don't need me. Duh--I why haven't I started my own ebay business. :confused3

A lot of people are have made a business out of selling things on eBay for other people. There's someone locally who I see advertising in all the stores.

Mornin! :umbrella: Rainy here. But it's supposed to be 40-50 all week long! :cool1: I wouldn't need to move to FL if we had winters like this! :rotfl2: I'm sure it won't last.

Chat was really fun last night! :hyper2:

My daughter was up in Gelns Falls this weekend visiting school friends. SHe called me yesterday asking me what they could do up there and I suggested going up to Lake George for the Winter Carnival. I was surprised to hear that the lake hasn't frozen over yet. You must be having a warm winter.

I thought the way Martin Sheen opened up the show was very classy.

It happened so fast, I missed it.

Okay I finally had time to post.

We had a BLAST this weekend. The drive was easy, the trip home the temp got up to 53 degrees. We would be easily convinced to return that way if the opportunity arises and work schedules align.

John and Gail were super hosts. They have a lovely home and many magical Disney touches. They have a wonderful family and we both felt right at home. Our hotel was just a short drive away and we had been given great directions. We all went to my favorite resturant on Friday night and had a great time. Unfortunately this was where the only blip of bad luck on the trip occurred. Some son ofa*&#*%$ cut the parking lot too close and obviously had a bike on a rack or something as it was still laying on the ground behind our Avalanche. Anyway my beautiful truck got its first dent. Not huge and not real visible but it will have to be fixed. Of course no one reported it to the manager either.
Saturday we left from J & G's house and were going to make a quick stop at a local hobby store, John and I had been talking about the Garden Railroad I am working on at home, so we got the gals convinced it wont be a real long visit and they gave in.

Well this was the result of our little 45 min hobby store trip :cool1: :cool1:

I sure have a great wife dont I! :goodvibes

Then we went to Mary and Johns house, or should I say Disney Showroom. What a fabulous collection she has. It really is incredible. We spent the whole afternoon with her and her husb John. Talked about all kinds of stuff. We really had a great time and would be delighted to get together again. On the way back to J & G's house we had dinner at a very nice mexican resturant. Then went to their house where we all played trains :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

More to follow including a few pics in the next report.

Someone in our local Pennysaver newspaper started running an ad saying they'll sell on ebay what you want to get rid of. I guess I just feel bad because it's so easy to do, and I'd hate to take someone's money for doing something so easy.

It has been relatively warm here considering its January, this week the lowest low is supposed to be like 30. For me, that's shorts and t-shirt weather. :rotfl2:

I just noticed my post in your reply. Boy, I'm a lousy t7per :teeth: I meant Glens Falls, but you knew that.

It's too bad, because the winter carnival is so much fun. We went many years ago when my wife was pregnant with our youngest. It was so cool walking on the lake that we're so used to swimming in.

Hey guys - if you don't already know, go to the main DCL website and sign up for the 3, 4, or 7 night cruise sweepstakes. Someone has to win, maybe it will be one of us!!!

Hi all. We had a great but busy weekend in Niagara Falls. My dd's did great. Brooke took first on vault in level 5 and Jessica took first on everything in level 4. She even got a 10.0 on vault. I couldn't believe it. They said there has only been 3 scores of 10 in the last 5 years at the meet. It was our gyms first and she is just so excited.

We are leaving for Disney on the 19 and I can't wait. I am so sick of the cold and dreary days here. I sure hope the weather is warm. Need to go get the laundry done.

That's awesome - a 10 - wow!

Have a blast at Disney.

Steve - I love that train set - you were smart not to bring it into my house - you might not have gone home with it! LOL. Would love to see it all when you have it set up or take lots of pictures! It was a fun visit but I must say my house was a mess - hopefully someday it will all be cleaned up.
It sure was fun to have company besides my own kids dropping by as you saw when you were here. Hopefully we all will do it again someday.

I didn't even notice the spelling until I saw this post. I had to go back and figure out what you spelled wrong.

I agree, it's really cool to walk on the lake. Right now it's still close to 40 degrees here, so I don't think it's going to be happening this week.

Thats awesome! Kudos to the girls!! :cheer2:

Mary - That Rooms to go Furniture is awesome! Makes me wish I was kid! The one pricess bed with the canopy is to die for but I really do like the Mickey furniture!

Sandy - The weather did make it hard for the Lage George Winter Fest. I think it was New Years Day that the Polar Bear Club Took their annual dunk it Lake George. Not my cup of tea but whatever flats your boat.

Steve - The train set is very cool. If you had been visiting me and brought it into my house I'm not to sure it would have went home with you :rotfl2: :rotfl:

Hey, I heard some folks talking about the food for this cruise and there *will* be fruitcake on board! Is this True?????
