Cindy - it looks like we have a really good group signed up for early seating. Thank you for taking on the organization of early dining. I think we'll have a ball if we are all in the same area. If nothing else we'll get to catch up with each other at dinnertimer.

I'm already working on Julia's table manners so poor Gary doesn't have to guard his plate with his life again if we sit next to you guys!

Wow, this was one quick weekend! Steve and Coleen came in on Friday and we had a nice weekend visit. They are now on their way back home.

We also had a nice visit with Mary yesterday. Oops, we forgot to take pictures - I think we were all amazed at Mary's Disney collection. Really folks, I have never seen so much Disney things in my life. We were half way home when we realized we didn't take any pictures! A big definite YES on the summer BBQ. Can't wait to see the Chicago group come driving up in Cindy's Daycare van! Get those camera's ready!!!

Wow, this was one quick weekend! Steve and Coleen came in on Friday and we had a nice weekend visit. They are now on their way back home.

We also had a nice visit with Mary yesterday. Oops, we forgot to take pictures - I think we were all amazed at Mary's Disney collection. Really folks, I have never seen so much Disney things in my life. We were half way home when we realized we didn't take any pictures! A big definite YES on the summer BBQ. Can't wait to see the Chicago group come driving up in Cindy's Daycare van! Get those camera's ready!!!

A summer pre-cruise meet sounds great. We'll just have to coordinate a good date. You know we want to make sure Mary is in town and you just never know when she's going to get in the car and drive away!

Actually, wasn't it Emily who swiped a couple of chips off my plate when we did our dinner group picture?

Trust me, Gary's is very use to children's table manners. After all, many, many, many times he has cleaned up the crumbs under our table. Remember, we have several ankle biters in this house most every day.

I hear from Mary that she just added additional shelves to hold all of her collection.

As I'm sure you know, I'm not a collector of much so I've been definately cleaning house around here.

It did come from IKEA, it's not flower shaped though. I was so excited to go to IKEA over Christmas because we don't have IKEA here, there's one like 5 minutes from my Dad's though. So we got the plates and forks,spoons and knives. I'm kicking myself for not getting another set, there's 6 but they're always dirty. Guess I'll have to go visits dear ole Dad again.

I miss the cheerleader one. I'm also too lazy to click on the "more" button. Some of them I know how to type the code in, but I'm going to have to look at what cheer is.

11 years, 7 months (because I took care of my Mom full time before I went in the hospital to have Cameron and he was born) since Gary & I did anything like that. One of these days, the kids will be grown and old enough to stay on their own ( ) and we'll have a chance then.

Chances are.....I'll chicken out from asking my dad (we have a weird relationship) and ask my girlfriend's daughter (she's 17 and my friend lives less than 1 mile away) to watch them and we'll drive the 2 hours home and get there around 2am. I hate asking people for help, especially my father.

Anyway--I'm watching the West Wing and I'm already too sad watching John Spencer....I may need to change the channel. Especially when they say things like "You are looking at the next vice president".

A BBQ does sound like it could make a fun meet - hmmm! Sounds like a good idea!
And everyone is welcome as long as you can put up with me and my Disney collections - it is a lifetime of collecting so far.

DD is still having some tough times and the nursery is almost done so it should only be 2 more months or so. I was over there today putting the finishing touches on trim in the nursery - almost done. The baby shower is in 3 weeks and then I think we're ready.

I do have one trip down planned to WDW for early May as of now but that may change so I should be around most of the spring/summer months. But I did promise the family that I will stick around as much as possible.

IKEA - music to my ears and they are finally building one nearby so I will probably spend lots of time there - need new tables to go with my Disney blue couches! I have travelled to Pittsburgh to go to IKEA and went to one in NJ but never went to the one out in Chicago.
