With no ears or backpacks and already running out of merchandise despite the limits…. Wonder if they had supply issues and that’s the real reason they tried to limit Dopey merch. Which is crazy. Order. Enough. Merch.

Not having enough merch has been an issue since my first RD weekend in 2018. I simply do not understand given the margins they must get on the merch. I can't image those $100 sweatshirts cost them ore than $5 to $10.

Already in bed here. We have all clothes laid out, bibs pinned, food ready to go. Will try not to set off the smoke alarm while toasting bagels like last time.

My first Rundisney in Walt Disney world was 2022 springtime surprise. There were no ears, but a few weeks later I think they turned up at the Cast member store. I was able to get a pair then on eBay or Mercari. But I wonder if since there was no backpack on preorder maybe something happened with loungefly? didn't they make the most recent ears?

Good grief, RunDisney IT continues to lower the bar. I can't open the Race Guide on my iPad! I know the 5k starts at 5am. Can someone please post what time the buses start running?

Expo at the end of the day is definitely much calmer. I got there at 6:35 and had my bib, shirts and the regular expo (including the whey shake survey, so nice to have unique flavors for once! I tried mango lassi) done in half an hour. They seemed to still have plenty of stock of the Brooks shoes, but the marathon women style shirts were completely sold out and most of the Dopey stuff was gone.

Figures the one year I can't do Coast to Coast they finally have merch in stock when I'm at the expo. :/

I’m trying not to stress because my parent who was Mystery Reader yesterday works at the school and had to go home sick today . I wasn’t sitting super close to her but did walk her to the door. Dang politeness!

I’m just hoping for a Marathon magnet and would love and coast to coast pin. Hoping it’s there Friday afternoon.

I don’t think there are any for the 5k since it’s self contained in Epcot. There are closure maps showing for the other distances, though.

It doesn’t look like there will be any. The guide doesn’t have that as a section under the 5k.

Crazy day and I am not a fan of being at the expo early or of that dumb Dopey line inside the merch area! My daughter (doing her first Dopey) landed a group 14 spot in the virtual que. The initial plan was the parks all morning and the expo in the afternoon. But with it being her first Dopey she really wanted to get there as easily as possible. Every time I do the VQ I get grouper 60 or group 80, etc. I figured that would repeat, nope! So we worked with guest relations to move all our mulitpass LL’s from the morning to afternoon (they were incredibly helpful!!). We got to the expo just a little after 10am. What ensued I will not relive, but needless to say all five of us eventually found things in merch, stood in lines forever walked to the moon and back to get bibs and shirts… and left at 3pm…. Never again, will I go that early!

I did end up with C, but one member of our group got G, so we are running out of G. A little close to the balloon ladies for my liking! But we will make it work.
