Hello all.... I am new to the boards so I wanted to drop in and say hi. Myself and my fiancee' are DVC owners at Saratoga Springs and we will also be joining you all on the 2006 Member cruise. This we will be our first member cruise, but it will be our 3rd DCL cruise. We went on one in April 2005 and we will be leaving on the Magic on January 14, 2006 for our western cruise. I am soooooo excited about getting to go on DCL twice in one year.... Plus we are planning a WDW wedding for January 14, 2007 so I have to go to WDW for a planning session next year too.. Is it sad that I have used all my vacation time next year to Disney stuff... LOL... :rotfl: People have been making fun of me for it. Anyway I always love to meet new people so I hope that I will get to meet some of you on the ship. I have been around reading for a while, but I so excited to finally take part in the discussions....

WELCOME!

Ok - one last one for the night. This one is using a photo and kind of the format from the Repo This (type on top, image, type on the bottom). More than 4 colors so I really wonder if it could be done. Just for fun. :)

BTW - the doormat one really was the one that was for giggles. Just going on Amy's comment. I don't think I'd be very happy wearing a door mat on my back. :rotfl:

Wording could be changed. Now that I'm reading this it looks like we are owners at all those places. Since Scott isn't sailing with us I don't think this would apply to any of us. :)

The only problem I see with this is the Disney Cruise Line and the DCL logo. Keep 'em coming Mary! :cheer2:

Jennifer - welcome aboard! Now that you have found us I hope you won't be a stranger. Stay and play with us!

If you haven't already check out the web page we have for this sailing. Click here to get to it. There is a member gallery page as well. It contains all kinds of info on the cruise as well as a member gallery. I hope that you will send us your info as well - all details are on the web page.

Then post as often as you like so you can get to know us and we can get to know you! We love meeting new people - especially ones who love DVC and Disney as much as the rest of us!

Good morning everyone! How is everyone doing today? I know you were all just up all night working on those designs for the t-shirts :rotfl:

Well I just paid the cash portion of the cruise off so we are all set! So our October cruise is paid off before our May one. :rotfl2:

Have a great day everyone - off to work I go!

Did we want to adopt the "cruise info" format Mary suggested a several posts back so that anyone coming into the thread at this point won't miss the important cruise information? If so, maybe Cheryl can repost her post with a header "Cruise Info" or something like that.

Point 'em to the website!

I do keep the website updated with all the real cruise info, that's what it is there for. Even have these tshirt ideas up there already.

I just would like everyone to have a say in the t-shirt design and would hate for someone to miss out because they don't read/post very often. I think this really needs to be a group effort designing the tshirts and truly think the more people involved the better. JMHO.

I missed Mary's post, but I wonder if this is the same idea. Many years ago, I was involved with a group that was starting up and we were trying to design a logo. We took everyone's input and put the most popular designs on a website where everyone can see them. Maybe we can use the 2006 cruise web site and create a page with all the proposed designs and at some point when we think we've have a good selection, have everyone vote?

Good Morning everyone, direct from beautiful Old Key West. :sunny: I haven't had a chance to read all the posts since I left but I have read the last few about the shirt designs. Has a shirt color been selected yet? I like the idea of voting on a bunch of different designs - I'll see if I can get John to come up with something to add since he is much more creative than I am!

Today we are going to the Member Update meeting - I'll post any news that might be new. Tonight is late night at MGM it's open until 1:00 AM, so we'll head over there about 9 tonight. I really like the late night hours.

cafepress only offers ash grey and lime green. Not sure what colors zazzle offers.

Cheryl
Cafe press also offers regular white and yellow, and pink for the ladies.

Ok, I checked out Zazzle finally (couldn't get in yesterday) and they offer much more variety with colors.

White
Gold
Grey
Lt. Blue
Lime
Natural
Orange
Stone Green
Pink
Yellow

However, so far, all that I can find is that they go down to Youth XS sizes. I have yet to find their baby/toddler sizes.

Ok, here I go again, I found more information! They do have infant sizes up to 24 months, but only in the following colors:

White
Grey
Lt. Blue
Pink
Yellow

I like the doormat!

:rotfl2: stepping slowly away from the computer before you all throw snowballs at me.

WELCOME JENNIFER!

Hi Sandy - Mark did put up the designs I had here on the website. Hopefully we'll get a few more designs from others and we can have a great vote.

WELCOME JENNIFER!

I'm thinking the doormat might make a better magnet. We could do them and put them at the bottom of our doors.

Yeah, as usual, I was dollar short and an hour late. I saw Mark's post, which was right before mine after I posted.

That's ok - just proves that GMTA! :) I'd rather see a good idea suggested more than once than to never be suggested at all!

:rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl2: now that would be funny, perhaps we can find custom made doormats (real ones) - :rotfl:

Any cruisers staying after the cruise that would be interested in booking a Grand Gatherings Fireworks Cruise with our family of three?

I would do the leg work for this by contacting MS and setting up a Grand Gatherings Number. I would need a PM from your group with lots of information such as first and last names, ages of kids, confirmation numbers, dates, party size, etc.

Then at 90 days I would make the Fireworks Cruise Reservation using our Grand Gatherings Number. Each family has up until 45 days of the fireworks cruise to make payment.

We did this with DH's family in May and it was the highlight of the trip. You meet at the Contemporary Marina and have a dessert buffet 45 minutes prior to sailing. Everyone gets a Magical Fireworks Voyage Pin. When you sail you have fun with a pirate host, watch the electrical water parade and then the Wishes Music is piped in and you watch the fireworks from the water. A story of Peter Pan told by the pirate when you go back to the Marina and a mmet and greet with Peter Pan afterwards. You meet Smee and Captain Hook before you sail. The cost is $34.99 for ages 10 and older and $19.99 for ages 3-9.

I can get a grand gatherings number anytime. The October schedule should be posted around June. The cruise can be booked @ 90 days. I was thinking for the Friday after the cruise 10-27-06. Could be made for the Saturday before the Cruise 10-21-06 (just not sure what DVC has planned prior to sailing for the members this year).

If anyone is interested send me a PM. I believe the pontoon holds around 30 people. Could be VERY fun!
