Sounds like a fun filled night at your place!!

This is a very weird TZ moment---my best friend in grammar school was named Ainsley. She was from England and I thought I was cooler than cool having a friend with an accent. About 10 years ago I saw her on the Wheel of Fortune....I just about died.

I probably won't be in chat tonight....I swear I have another kidney stone, wouldn't you know it, on a Friday afternoon, it's not bad enough to go to the ER and of course the Dr. is closed already. I'm really not ready to deal with it, so I'm going to bed early. If I get up around 9, I'll pop in and say hi.
That's too funny! I had never met anyone with the name Ainsley until she showed up in Emily's class. She's a real cutie with blonde hair. What's funny is that I'm no longer Amy, to all of Emily's friends, I'm "Emily's mom". When something happens, Ainsley says, "Emily's mom, Maddie did ???". It's funny how you lose your identity when you have kids.

I'm so sorry that you're not feeling well, Diana. My brother gets kidney stones, and I know what he goes through! I hope it's an easy one!!! pixiedust:

I'll be in chat tonight. Karen won't be in chats for the next two weeks so I said I'd be there. So I'm most likely going to stay in the main room.

Diana - prayers and pixie dust on the kidney stone. Had that once and it is not fun!

Here is another Photo of John and Dee Vee Cee from member homecoming

Also I found all my member homecoming pictures:
http://www.net-marks.com/cherylp3/memberhomecoming/index.html

Looks like one of the photos has Robin and David from the back in it (in lime green of course). I could be wrong.

Ok I lost my train of thought and forgot what else I was going to say.... :rolleyes1 .....
Oh I remember! I am with John....I like Dee Vee Cee, she cracks me up....what can I say, I'm not normal and I'm proud of it :rotfl2:

I wonder, does John like Dee Vee Cee so much because she reminds him of me :scared1: :confused3

I prob won't be in chat as I'm having a melt down here right now - here's how my night is going:

I was downloading my information tonight and discovered that there were some checks written on my account completely out of sequence (eg mine are in the 3,000s and these are 1700) and the amounts did not look familiar AT ALL.

So being the diligent accountant I am I called the bank and spoke to a very nice team of people. They were able to pull up the bank images on their system even though they are not available to me yet. They read the businesses/persons the checks were written to and I didn't recognize them so they read the phone number written on the first check - NOT OURS - and the DL # on the 2nd check - NOT MINE. They then asked me if I knew "xxxx xxxxx" person. Um no! So then they confirmed that MY ACCOUNT number is printed on these checks with the other persons info.

I am a legacy Bank One customer and the Chase system is converting to Bank One. It's possible that the bank screwed up the conversion and dropped a number from her accounts, or it's possible that she's stolen my account number (not my personal information) and is using it to write checks.

So here is what I can do:

1. call Check Fraud - however, they are not open evenings or weekends so I have to wait until MONDAY (again, poor customer service)

2. go to the branch in the am and speak with their management team who will probably have to freeze my funds and start disputes.

3. continue to monitor the account to see what other check's the woman writes.

So now I really don't trust the bank and will probably have to close the accounts, move my payroll, monthly efts (eg payments to DVC etc) and any other information to another bank and start all over. What a pain!

I'm lucky that it doesn't sound like it's identity theft, however, if you bank with either bank I would pay VERY close attention to your accounts over the next few months!

Oh Julie!! Sounds like a nightmare!! I sure hope that it works out well for you!!

Here's some pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: because I think that you'll need it to get through this!!!

Hey there! You guys were a little chatty today!
Well I went to work for a few hours today and Jeff stayed home with Nick. It looks like his fever finally broke and his temp is under 100. The doctor called and the strep test they sent out came back positive but it's not the normal strep most kids get so it didn't show on the quick test they did in the office so we need to keep him on his amoxicillion for like 7 more days.
And here is the kicker, Jeff is now sick! He's taking a little nap right now. Hopefully it won't be like what Nick had.

pixiedust: for Jeff. It sounds like he might have strep also. In my experience, yep I had it several times in a year too, all I had to do was call the doctor and tell them Cameron or Walker tested positive and they would prescribe something for me. I have to say, the times when I've had strep have been times I've been the sickest --- next to having the flu last week. I hope both Jeff & Nick are on the mend.

Sounds like someone else needs some pixiedust: I've never had kidney stones but I've heard they are painful. Hope you feel better soon!

Oh, Julie! :furious: :furious: :furious: That sounds like a nightmare!

I would definately move my funds to another bank. At least until you know your account is safe at the original bank.

What a hassle. Here you are, minding your own business and now have to suffer through the effects of this.

I hope it's all just a mistake and not a situation where someone has not stolen your information. Because I see that being a long, drawn out legal battle.

Gosh, I hope it all gets straightened out quickly. I know I'd be at the bank in the morning.

pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: for a smooth, quick resolution!

Yikes Julie! Hopefully they can get this straightened out soon! I would be having a major meltdown. Good Luck tomorrow pixiedust:

Julie - sorry to hear that. We had something like that about a year ago. I was balancing the checkbook (do it every month) and found two entries that weren't ours. The bank was great in taking care of it and we've had no problems since. Still quite a hassle. Good luck!

Me, yell - NEVER! :rotfl2: Ok, don't ask John or my kids if that's true :rotfl: They sure have enjoyed this past week with me having laryngitis - today is the first day that I haven't had any problems talking!

::yes:: Boy Mary, you are good!

Thanks everyone for the Pixie Dust! I will let you know tomorrow how it all works out - or begins to work out :confused3

Diana - I hope you feel better quickly!

Stacy - I hope Jeff does not have strep and that Nick's strep moves on quickly!

Sending pixie dust to Julie :wizard:

I am sure everything will work out, but it is frustrating having to wait to get things straightened out! We had something similar happen years ago with a debit card at Christmas time. I have never been so mad, upset and frustrated as when that happened to us. Keep your spirits up! :grouphug:

I sure hope that Jeff doesn't have strep!!!

A couple of years ago, Chris was diagnosed with strep by the ER. He ended up staying there for hours for the diagnosis, and got his 10-day prescription for anti-biotics. Well, he came home and told me that I should go too, since I was experiencing the same symptoms. So, off to the ER I went. I didn't have to wait very long at all, since I told them that DH was just there and had strep. The nurse comes in instead of 10 days of pills, I ended up just getting a shot in the backside and I was done. Since I had just had Emily, she figured that I would happier not having to worry about the antibiotics affecting my birth control pills, so I wouldn't have another baby too soon. I was VERY thankful, and Chris was very jealous because he still had to take all those pills (and he HATES taking pills). He would have preferred the shot.

Sorry I missed chat last night. DH and I went out to dinner, then came home and watched the NCAA tourney. We met at a basketball game, so watching bball together is one of our favorite cheap dates.

Diana---hope you're feeling better this morning. My MIL has had several kidney stones and she says it's worse than having a baby.

Julie---how awful! My sister had her identity stolen a few years ago and it took a long time to get things straightened out. Glad you won't have to go through all that. pixiedust:

Good Morning everyone!

I just wanted to thank everyone for the pixie dust for Nick & Jeff. Nick seems to e over the hump with just a lingering cough now. Jeff is taking a nap right now, I'm thinking he is going to be felling pretty yucky for another day or two  . Knock on wood I'm still fit as a fiddle!

Diana - I hope all your troubles with the kidney stone have past! (get it past! ok bad joke :lmao: ) I've been threre a few times. When ever I get them I call the doc go to the office and get a shot in the tushy and then have to pee in that lovely little stainer cup thing so that I can catch the stone for them to test, yea.

Amy - Poor Chris having to go thru all that with his strep, I think I would have prefered the shot rather then have to remember to take the pills Pills don't bother me luckily it's just remembering to take them.

Julie - Yikes! :scared1: Thank goodness you are diligent with your records or who knows how long that could have gone on for. Hope everything goes smoothly with getting that straightened out!
