Diana - I hope all your troubles with the kidney stone have past! (get it past! ok bad joke :lmao: ) I've been threre a few times. When ever I get them I call the doc go to the office and get a shot in the tushy and then have to pee in that lovely little stainer cup thing so that I can catch the stone for them to test, yea.

Thanks for all the well wishes! I definitely got rid of a small one last night, and I thought I was done, but I'm still not quite right. The last time I had 3, 2 little ones and one giant one--7mm. I'm not using the little strainer cup thingy, I think it's gross and I know I should catch them to test them, but I'm so dumb when it comes to dr's and hospitals and I'm really hoping to put off going to the doctor until Monday and not going to the ER.

To all the cruisers from SSMC05 who remember David (Foxxboys) I got a pm from him this morning (sent last night). Funny as we were just talking about him last night in chat. The good news is he's booked a cruise! The bad news is it isn't this one. He and Will are cruising on 9/9 on the Magic. He told me to say Hi to everyone!

Thanks everyone for your continued wishes to a speedy financial recovery. Well, it seems that I am a victim of fraud and that someone HAS stolen my bank account number. It does not appear currently that they have any other personal information so my full identity was not stolen, but they had enough info to get $450 out of my account with 3 checks and possibly others out there.

Matt and I spent 1 1/2 hours at the bank this am closing my accounts, opening new accounts and putting additional security in place (basically if you call or go to the bank and you don't know my verbal password you can't get anything done :thumbsup2 ). The bank confirmed that NO ONE banks with them by the name that is on the checks so they filed a fraud claim and we have to follow up on Monday with the fraud team.

We then trekked off to the police department where we filed a police report. I think the officer felt we were being a bit silly since the bank was already on it, yet he did mention the DL # that the person used was a valid number. That does not mean that person is actually the one writing the checks, they could be the one who is the vicitim of full id theft and if so I feel awful for them.

I have no idea how someone got the account number - I write very few physical checks, don't mail them every and haven't had any noticeable mail missing (meaning we're getting all our bills and bank statements). I now have to contact all auto deduct vendors (DVC, mortgage co etc) and give them the new information, so fun (NOT). I should have my $$ back in 10 days.

Boo to the bad people!

Julie, I'm so sorry to here about that, but I'm really glad you caught it in time. It's such a pain in the neck to change all those auto payments. :wizard:

Mary - thanks for the update on David - he was such a nice guy that I think of him a lot when I come to this forum - I don't think anyone can truly replace him and that will be our loss but it will be a fun cruise I'm sure!

Can't wait for tomorrow's countdown so I won't get ahead of myself here.

Sorry to hear about this; some questions that may help:

Do you shred everything that goes in the trash?
Checked your pc for viruses/spyware lately?

Now that said, we do that and still had to swap out our checking acct and atm cards about a year or two back now. Had a couple checks show up that looked nothing like ours in a statement but did have the right acct number on them. The bank said there are people who just randomly put numbers out there to see if it'll clear. Didn't have the right name, address, or anything on them. Thankfully don't have anything that automatically deducts from the acct and only Mary's check is direct.

Thanks for the info Mary :thumbsup2
I just bought a blue "Fish Extender" Yea for me! :cheer2:
Mrs Lips must love us to pieces!

Mary glad to hear David is getting to go on a non-working cruise, it would have been nice if it was the Member Cruise.

Oh Julie, what a mess. Good thing you caught it early. I can't imagine the work involved to contact everyone that auto deducts from our accounts. :grouphug: to you while you try to straighten this mess out.

Hey there!
Happy Sunday, or Relax, or Sabbath or whatever you do on your sundays!

ok a little :offtopic: I don't know if it's just me being a little behind on things or not :confused3 about the possibilty of the MNSSSHP being moved to MGM and featuring Jack Skellington.
http://www.screamscape.com/html/wdw_-_disney-mgm_studios.htm

Interesting. From reading it I think they might still have MNSSHP and target the teens and young adults with this new party.

That was the impressoin that I got too, Mary! Sounds like they might be doing both. And, if that's the case, then we'll stick with MNSSHP, since ours are still little.

It definitely seems like the one at MGM would be created to compete better with the one they have over at Universal. I'm with Amy sticking with the MNSSHP!

:wave2: Hi, I'm popping out of lurkdom with a question. We are thinking of renting a car and driving to the port before the cruise this year instead of using the Disney busses. Is it Budget that everyone uses? I know I could search the forum but the search feature and I don't get along to well. :confused3 If it is do they have a spot to pick up at MCO or is it offsite?
Thanks for any info.

Hi Rose - we have used Budget and Avis. Both are onsite at MCO and very close to the port. I check both sites to see who has the cheapest rates - we've had good luck with both.

I'll be a wee bit late to chat tonight - have to help with the baby for a bit but I'll try and get there before 9:30.
