2005 Cruise Itinerary

Wanting to go on A 7-day in Summer of 2005. When will Disney release the Itinerary? I have heard many rumors, including going to Bermuda.

A castmember on board who should know what they're thinking (but cannot say anything) said to expect an announcement in early May. Until that happens, anything you hear is pure speculation and probably not even coming from Disney. Too often on the internet someone posts what they "think" "might" happen or what they'd like to see, someone reads it & thinks it's fact, and it ends up taking on a life of its own.

and the other rumor/feedback we have received is that an announcement will be made in March and some others have reported an announcement in May. (When I called DCL, I was told March - but I am not holding my breath). We will be cruising either way.

During the castaway cocktail party the captain said , alaska and the mediteranian where under consideration for future cruises.
I personally think the carribean is getting a bit tired.

But don't you need a different design for a ship to go into cold weather? Could it really go to Alaska?

Radiance of the Seas goes to Alaska, even though the pools were definitely NOT designed for it. The only indoor pool is supposed to be the adults-only pool, but all the kids were in it because it was too bitter cold and windy to use the outdoor ones.
I don't care where the Magic is going...I will be on in on 4th of July week of 2005, as long as it's not more than a week.

That's why we have named it the "Disney Speculation"!!!!

Hey, why not dream, and remember, "A dream is a wish your heart makes!"

Our hearts are wishing that for summer 2005 that our "50th birthday celebrations" will mean that DCL will head west in celebration of Disneyland's "50th Birthday" - it's a speculation but not so farfetched as one may think!

The only thing I know for sure is that Disney will NOT be doing 7 days out of Port canaveral after Mid may.. would not tell me where they were going only that they were repositioning and to expect a repo cruise mid may. i found this out on the wonder 2/26 when i went to book for june 05 they said they would still have 3 and 4 day cruises out of Port canaveral but not 7 day....

I wonder if the 3/4 day cruises will cost even more than usual in the summer of 2005 because they are the only alternative in Florida for going on a DCL.

On our Feb 7 cruise CPT Tom said the announcement would be made in March!
