1st trip to WDW - need help with FP+

There is so much to learn before a trip to WDW! Okay, I booked my hotel (AKL concierge!) and I made my 180 day ADRs. But what about FP+? I understand that I can book them 60 days out -- but I haven't bought tickets yet. I'm guessing I need to do that first -- do I just call Disney and tell them how many days of tix I want?

My 60 day window is fast approaching...any help would be much appreciated!

When you made your reservation was it a room only and not a package? Meaning you just booked the room and the dining and didn't add any tickets on? If this is the case then yes you need to either go online to disney.go.com and purchase tickets or you can book them through a CM on the phone. Be sure that you link the tickets to your room reservation though on the My disney experience part of the website so you can start booking your fast passes.

Yes you will need tickets you can order them from Disney or change reservation to package. You then will need to link them in magical disney experience order your magic bands, figure out what park you will be at and sign up fast pass + at 60 days.
