1800 Flowers Work At Home Opportunity (Select States)

Katie,
Is there anything else you could share with me. I'm pretty excited about this if it works out. Did she give you typical work "hours", etc. Are they a 24/7?
I one of those that has tons of questions about a new job so anything you can share would be great. Thanks!! Goodluck!

Basically on slow weeks its 6-10 hrs and on "gold rush" weeks you could work 30+, it all depends on the season I am assuming. I forgot to ask but I believe they are 24/7.

No, they do not run 24/7. My interviewer told me that they have 2 stations. One located in New York that runs m-f 8am-8pm. And the other one is in New mexico and runs 7 days a week 8am-11pm.

Did you get assigned a time to work on the interview or will you learn that later?

I work Saturday and Sundays now, from 10-3 so I could work prior to and after my shift and any time on the weekdays. I hope this will work.

No we didn't even get to that yet. Once you get your phone line installed and they recieve your paperwork they have a training mgr call you. You go through training and then I assume you get your hours.

Anyone know if there are shifts and what they are? Just curious if it would be possible to do this and have another job? I noticed during several of the "peak times" I'm always off too.

Well 11:30 has come and gone, did everyone else who got a call get it exactly on time. I'm a nervous wreck with interviews, so here I am phone in hand and no call yet... 11:36am. Well atleast I know I was on time...lol.

ETA: Strange still no call and it's 11:59am. Wonder what I should do next?

I signed up, took the silly test and have a phone appointment for tomorrow afternoon. I'm gonna run by Staples and pick up one of those headsets for the call. If I could do this early mornings and evenings, it'll work out great! Thanks, OP!!:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Don't be nervous! It's really not that bad. Did they call you yet?

No, and sadly I turned down an extra shift at work today so I could be home for this. A co-worker called last night and needed coverage but I declined because of the interview and then still no call. I have no way to contact them either. =o(

Did you check the time zone? They go off eastern standard time. My call was 30 minutes late and I was also freaking out. When the interviewer called she said she was running very behind. But it's been a couple hours for you:confused3

I got the job today! Thanks OP. I was a little dissapointed that during a regular week you could only work 8 hours, but oh well. My interviewer called 30 minutes early, so I guess they don't run on time.

I've got my call tonight at 7pm. 8 hours a week works for me with 2 small kids around and having to find someone to watch them when i take calls! I will let you all know how it goes.

Did anyone else go all the way through only to be told there were no appointment times available and to check back in a few days?

My call just ended & it was right on time. I got the job & need to send in my paperwork before I leave for my trip. Good luck to all!

Anyone found out if you'd be able to do this and work during the day...do your 8 or so hours a week during the evening? and/or on a weekend? I know it would be different during the peak times, but would love to know the feasibility of doing this along with a full time job (I could request off or make arrangements during peak times).

HI I usually just lurk but I applied for this job and the interviewer just called and when I told her I was having a phone line installed next week she said she couldn't even interview me until the phone line was installed. I don't want to pay to have another phone line installed if I am not sure I have the job. Did everyone else say they already had the phone line installed? I was wondering if she was blowing me off because my kids were kinda loud in the background and she didn't want to waster her time. I explained that my kids were out of school today and are not normally here while I am working but she said without the phone already installed she couldn't do the interview. So now I am debating paying for the phone to be installed but what if I dont get the job and I want that money.
Guess I need to look into it a little more
Thank to the OP for the info on the opportunity

Jill
