1800 Flowers Work At Home Opportunity (Select States)

I would like to know the answer to that as well. And is it cheaper?

It's phone service that is routed through your cable modem. I pay $20 a month for Vonage, vs. $60 a month for basic service through Verizon.

Is that your TOTAL bill for Vonage, or do taxes, etc. apply that bring it higher? I'm just trying to see, because with our current company we can add another line for 29 per month and it will just roll into our current bill, trying to see if it's worth putting in with Vonage and having an entirely new bill each month. Is this unlimited minutes for Vonage? Any set up fees?

I have Verizon VOIP. My bill each month is 24.95 TOTAL. I have all the options that I had on my regular phone before-voicemail, caller id, call waiting, call forwarding, but my bill is 60 bucks cheaper each month.

That's with taxes. I'm on the 500 minute plan. There are no setup fees other than I believe a 9.99 shipping fee. You can't have Voip for this particular job it says in the qualifications. I suspect because sometimes the call quality isn't that great and when your cable goes out, so does your phone.

Thanks for a kind DISer I got in contact with someone at 1-800 flowers who figured out the issue with why I did not get my call was that the person set to interview me on Thursday doesn't even work on Thursdays...=o)

So I'm now forgoing my trip to Orlando with my brother who is here on Springbreak to be home for my interview tomorow at 5:30pm. I'm sure he won't be too happy but the only other times they had were for Wednesday and Thursday and we are going to WDW so that won't work. Can't explain that one to an 11 year old...lol.

Our VOIP is through Vonage and for $32 a month total we have all the features and more than what we had with Bellsouth PLUS unlimited long distance. It's great.

Thank you so much for this thread!

I had my interview today and was offered the job! Does anyone know how long it takes for them to email the paper work?

The interview was really easy. She first gave me all of the facts and requirements of the job. Then she asked me a few simple questions about why I wanted the job and how my skills would fit the 1800 Flowers position and that was about it. If anyone has an interview coming up do not worry about it. It was very low key.

Thanks again for this great thread.

I got my paperwork within 5 minutes of hanging up the phone with the interviewer, went straight to the bank and got it notarized. I sent it out priority on Friday, so hopefully they receive it soon, I'm ready to get to work!!!

yayy I'm glad you got it figured out ;)

Did anyone get a date to start training yet? I had to send my paperwork to Oklahoma and sent it on Thurs, they should have it by now.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew if they offer evening and weekend shifts? Also, how long does training last? I have an interview on Wednesday! Wish me luck :yay:

It was your normal "new-hire" paperwork. Tax papers and such. You also have to get a confidentiality paper notarized.

I got it! My call was 15 minutes late and I was starting to worry about them not calling again but Chris called and he apologized for the wait. A few questions later and I was in. =o)

I made sure to get a name/number to call if the paperwork didn't come due to the fact that I didn't get a call last week.

They never once asked me about a phone line or a headset or any equipment type questions.....:confused3 So you are right, 1-800-flowers will now be dominated by the DIS!!

Long Live The Mouse!!

I'm in as well! Except I haven't gotten my paperwork yet. Has everyone else? If so, does anyone have the phone number to contact them? Thanks!
