Good Morning, Ladies!
It's a new week and I know we're off to a great start!
It seems our little group is growing again! a hearty

to our new members!
I jumped back into the TM last week and made my 25 mile goal! This week I'm going for 27.5. I did 5.5 yesterday, but I need to take today off since I just did three days in a row. My body throws a protest at this point. It's also supposed to be the hottest day of the year for us Wednesday, so that day may not happen. We'll see how miserable it is in my basement after work.
My eating is improving, too. This week we have cherries, grapes, bananas, cantaloupe, cucumbers, tomatoes and green beans. If I don't eat enough fresh fruits and veggies, I have no one to blame but myself.
Yesterday I had too much salt, so I think I'm retaining water. I'm waiting 'til a little later in the week to weigh in. In any case, I'm wearing a dress I wore last week, and I can physically feel and see that it is looser around my tummy, so some progress is being made!
Tara -- Great idea for the bracelets! I am definitely interested. How about something very simple, like "DIS W.I.S.H."? I'm hesitant to wear something that says "150", but other than that I'm sure you'll come up with something fantastic! I hope you are starting to feel better.
MightyAphrodite -- I'm so glad you've joined us! Tara is right, the key is consistency, not perfection. Sometimes it's harder to get going after a setback, we are here to encourage you and support you!
CJK -- You're doing great! I know the scale can be intimidating (I avoid it when I know it will depress me), but keep in mind that it is a tool. When you first start a healthy lifestyle, your weight can fluctuate greatly from day to day -- so you shouldn't let one reading plunge you into despair. I'm glad you're thinking about weighing, and I suspect you will be pretty happy with your results when you do!
Linda -- You are doing great in the heatwave! You are in my thoughts, and I am confident you are close to answers and a simple treatment that will restore you to your robust self! I think you are probably running on adrenaline right now -- that visit with DD is getting so close!

O.k., just a week now, and you will have something to go on. Patience is a virture -- I'm sending PD your way, because I'm sadly lacking in the patience area!
Jen -- You are a busy young lady! I'm glad you are keeping up with your water. Even when you don't have time to post or concentrate on weight loss, you are still keeping up good habits that will serve you well!
Gracer -- You are making wonderful progress! Let your body adjust to your new schedule, it make take awhile. And great job on those walks!
Dona -- What your friend said was "very, very not nice". Hopefully, she didn't realize it was hurtful. I think you should feel free to tell her you have worked very hard, and are proud of your progress. We're all proud of you!
Renee -- I like your corny sayings!

After all, "Winners are Losers Who Got Up and Gave it Just One More Try"!
Wendy -- How is that fabulous new outfit coming along?! I confess, I've been looking at Fall catalogs and I am tempted by a few things...
O.k., as Tara said we have 7 weeks -- Let's kick it up a notch and watch our waists whittle away!
