Hi Everybody!
Still no progress to report on the scale, but I have been hitting the TM like a fiend. 3 miles yesterday, and six the day before, plus six on Sunday. So, what have I learned from this little experiment where I'm not careful with my food but I exercise? For me, this is a great way to maintain. I can't make any headway with losses if I'm not working both food and exercise at the same time. Of course, I've always known that deep down, but who wants to admit that?!
After we return from our trip to Bermuda (we leave in 10 days!

), I will once again count points, and figure out how my exercise points are accumulating (without eating them!). I realized that I have to start looking up the values for foods. I had been eating monterey jack cheese sticks and assuming they were 1 or 2 pts. Turns out they're 3...not much overall, but if I undercount everything I eat...well, my lack of weight loss becomes a bit easier to understand.
Kathy -- I'm really glad you checked in!

I was wondering how you are doing. I'm determined to be able to do a half marathon some day, so I'm still working on increasing my mileage.
Wendy -- I lose the same way you do. Unfortunately, I lose quickly on top, and then it takes the bottom quite awhile to catch up. It figures, the fat I want to keep leaves, and the fat I want to leave stays just as long as it can!
CJK -- Holidays are hard! Good job with sticking with your plan. It sounds like you are doing great!
Tara -- You are the queen of activity!

I love how you have a great variety in your activities, so you never get bored. That's something I need to work on. Today's TM workout is a long walk -- to the Keira Knightley version of Pride & Prejudice. It's just over 2 hours, so I should get 7-8 miles, and I'll be smiling the entire time.
Renee -- You are on your way and doing fantastic! We are so proud of you!
Dona -- Weighing less than you did a year ago is a big accomplishment. It shows consistency and continual effort. How's the planning for that trip coming?!
Linda -- Hope your feeling o.k., and enjoying getting ready for your DW adventure!
Jen -- How's school? Are you knee deep in activities already? I bet you are!
It's officially the dog days of summer. I ordered some pants and shirts for work, so now I have to lose at least 5 pounds. I'm happy with my shirt size, I'm easily wearing a 10-12, or medium (Did I mention I have not been blessed with an abundance of bust?!

). I have to work on my lower half! I can and do get into 14s, but 5 pounds lighter they look good and are comfortable. Clearly I need an incentive, so it's going to be hanging in my closet -- now there's a reason to get my act together!
Hang in there and we'll be buying cute clothes for Fall!
