12/12/10 Podcast cruise 2.0

I hope they stick with Southwest's bag policy :) We usually fly one or the other, whichever is the lower cost so this is good.

According to the merger website, they are going to keep the bag policy, the no change fee policy and the no assigned seats policy. This will give SW a small presence in Richmond. I doubt it will have any affect on prices.

The article I read this evening said it will be well over a year before any changes start and sometime in 2012 before the complete change of Airtran to SW happens. Will be interesting to watch that is for sure, as so much can happen between now and then.

Morning Everyone !!! Filled out my cruise paper work this morning...so excited now.... Wishing everyone a great day !!!!

Long time no see Everyone! :wave2:

Ever since changing roles at work, things have been extremely hectic. I was telling Jennifer last night that I don't remember opening my browser for anything but work in several days now. :( I try and catch up a little on my phone when I get home, but I need to re-introduce myself to Jennifer and the kids during that time as well. ;) With thinigs so crazy, I am ready even more than ever for this trip! :thumbsup2 Jennifer informed me that their room is checked in so I had better get the boys' room registered online so that I don't feel like they are leaving without us. ;) Anyway, back to the insanity. Hope to talk to you all soon! :goodvibes

Okay, you've all given Bill a complex. He thinks he's a thread killer! :lmao: I assume people are busy being productive this week and not DISing. :surfweb:

 Happy Fall!

It has actually gotten cooler this week here in Texas. Today it will only be in the high 80's (To us, that is cooler! :rotfl: ) I love this weather! :cloud9: I can't wait to get a fire going in the fireplace. Soon ... :thumbsup2

We are having a new roof put on today. So, all I have heard since 6:30 am has been banging. I need a Tylenol! :headache: Speaking of Tylenol, can a Mommy out there tell my why I can no longer buy Children's Tylenol or Children's Motrin. DS5 was sick this past weekend and we needed a fever reducer. All the stores around here aren't stocking Children's Tylenol or Children's Motrin anymore. Did I miss a recall?????? :confused3

:goodvibes Jennifer

There was a big recall this spring for children's Tylenol and Motrin. Get the store brand. :)

:thumbsup2 I remember that. The issue hasn't been resolved????? Bill ended up getting a Pedia Care brand of fever reducer. I hope it's okay ... :confused3 DS5 is back to his old self this week. :cool1:

Hi all...thought I would pop over to this thread to say hi also.....seems things are quiet on both these days.......the cruise is getting closer.......

Have a great day !!!

It seems to be quiet EVERYWHERE this week. What's going on????? :confused3

:surfweb: I was looking over Bill's shoulder during chat last night. I almost fell asleep. Nothing too exciting was being discussed and there were long periods of time when no one chatted. That is not like DISers. We are normally a chatty bunch. What is going on around here? :rolleyes1

Well, I'm around if anyone wants to talk Podcast Cruise and Walt Disney World. I can't wait. :woohoo: Tick Tock! Tick Tock! This cruise is getting closer. We should be getting more excited people! Just think in a few months ... no work, fruity drink in hand and the warm ocean water washing over your feet. :cloud9: "Serenity Bay here we come!"

:goodvibes Jennifer

Our satellite TV is temporarily out as we had a new roof put on yesterday, so it has "forced" us to have to watch our DVRed Disney specials. :) I had forgotten how many we had as well as how many times we have seen them now. It was cool that they had updated the Disneyland: Behind the Scenes one with some cool stuff and I am hopeful that they update the DCL one once the Dream is out. Gives us more fodder to tie us over between trips. :thumbsup2 Hope all is well with everyone!

LOL, we're even posting at the same time. :rotfl2: Did you have a sense I was DISing at work? :rolleyes1

 I'm here! :cool2:

I just noticed in your signature that you have Disneyland Paris 2014. You are so like me to plan that far ahead! :rotfl: We keep pushing our Disneyland Paris trip out another year and then another year. We're waiting until we feel the kids are old enough to really appreciate the experience. Who knows, maybe we'll see you there in 2014! ;)

Bill told me you're having a new floor installed. You'll have to let me know how you like the bamboo once it is installed. We are planning on putting hardwoods in next year. We looked at bamboo too, because it is sturdy and should withstand whatever the kids do to it. ;)

We think alike. It is scary sometimes! ;)

The satellite is still out, laundry done, dishes done and house tidy. Time to DIS ... :surfweb:

Yes, we are planning a big trip to Europe, including DLP, without the kids. :rolleyes1 Chris and I will each be celebrating BIG birthdays and neither of us have been to Europe.... yet.

Yes, we are having new carpets and wood floors installed soon. The house is 12 years old now and it's time. Five people and 2 dogs have really taken it's toll on the floors.

Chris actually picked up the bamboo wood floors yesterday. We are doing the kitchen, foyer, and hallway between the two areas in the wood. I laid out a bunch of pieces last night and can't wait for the installers to come on Monday. Of course that means we have a busy weekend ahead. Saving a few bucks by removing the old flooring and trim ourselves.

We brought home a sample from the store and really beat on it. Held up pretty well. Plus, water did great on it too. And, since it's all hardwood and not a thin layer, we can refinish it later.

Now the cabinets and countertops...... :rolleyes1:rotfl: It never ends.

We are also having the family room, living room, dining room, stairs and upper hallway carpets redone. Home Depot is running a special for the Martha Stewart brand carpeting. Whole house installed for $37.00. Yep, 37 bucks. Plus HD accepts Lowes coupons and we were able to save big bucks.

This wasn't really in the budget or plan for this year, but we couldn't pass up the pricing, and we knew it was time.
