evening - just a fly by posting before Grey's starts!

We went out to Shaner's for pizza....well I had a salad and the girls had pizza. John had to leave for his game before it came so I brought 3/4 of a pizza home for him.
On our way home we stopped at the mall and hit the Disney Store! OMG I spent $104.18 but I got:

adult POTC hooded zip up fleece 2 of them
adult POTC shirt - looks like a button up hawaiin shirt but POTC
adult CARS embroidered shirt
2 tink ls thermal shirts
2 aurora ls thermal shirts
2 cinderella embroidered shirts
2 tink embroidered shirts
2 satin varsity jackets ariel
2 nightgowns onepooh and one bambi (Samantha has a thing for nighties!)
3 pack panties
ariel sneakers
adult sally tshirt

I think that is a TON of stuff......not to mention - they HIRED ME ON THE SPOT! They are changing mgmt - and boy the old mgmt knew me!! - anyway this lady was up from Miami resetting it looked like and she got to talking to me and hired me, I mean got my info and everything. I am supposed to go fill out paperwork on Sunday. 30% off and she also said free WDW passes. and the 30% off is good at the Children's Place as well. Now the pay needs to be discussed ASAP....$6.75 WHAT? as a PT cashier at Home Depot I was making $11.50! I would love LOVE to do it. Don't know what DH will say??!!

Wow, that's so cool. Congratulations!! I always thought working at Disney Store would be a great job for me but we don't have one too close to our house. I hope they'll agree to pay you more though.

ds2Mom, welcome aboard! There are quite a few 7 year old boys on this group, including one of my sons. I also have a son who will be 5 on this ship. Looking forward to getting to know you!

you also asked about the shirts, I think there are a couple families not getting the green shirts. My crew won't be wearing green t-shirts, we're hoping to blend in to the woodwork.

Also I believe we'll also be using the green bracelets that Kim will provide to help us identify fellow DISers so if you don't have the shirts you'll still be recognizable if you wear the bracelets.

you know a regular gym thing would be a great idea on the ship.
Kristina - do you know what other type of classes there are besides spinning? maybe just a morning treadmill/stationary bike/weights meet would be fun.

And today the Cleveland ABC affiliate news came down to do a story on our school district.

I made it on the 6:00 news along with our Superintendent. Some people get 15 minutes of fame - I got one sentence! It was kind of cool to be on the news though.

I was on 2 before as well and missed them both!!!! I was too tired by Thursday!!!! I WILL be there this time...even if I have to leave DH in the room with the kids!

We have never been on a 7 night and so much of this is new to me. You guys have clued me in a lot. I don't think we would have pirate outfits except for how you guys have talked it up. I know we wouldn't have gone on the tour with all of you if you hadn't talked it up. I must say you are all very persausive (sp). Count me in on the chocolate.

I remember when mine said he didn't want me to walk him to the bus stop anymore!! I still watch from the window in the morning and afternoon, too

LOL! They walked to gether to the driveway today. DS was disappointed that I had the door unlocked though. He takes the house key out every day & hasn't had to use it yet.

You know there are several days per year that are just delightful and perfect - today was one of them. all the fall colors are out here. the morning was crisp - cold even - but heated up to almost 70.

You just are forced to slow down and take a deep breath and admire the perfection!!!

throw in a few Disney store bargains, good kids, a full moon and there you have it.

Speaking of stupid fundraisers,
Here's something that happened at DH's work.
The new boss wants to hold an open house to show off her new office and department. She researched the cost of the party and is asking everyone in the department to donate $51 for the event.

Sorry, the Howard family will not participate.

I would say that takes a major set of Cajonas, but she obviously does not have them.

My DC is still in the hospital. She will be there for at least one more day. She is S L O W L Y getting better. I really appreciate all of the prayers. She does as well. We are still waiting to hear what was wrong with that cat.

I hope you guys have a wonderful time this weekend. We are going to try to get the hallway done this weekend. We have repainted the living room. We want to get the hallway, excercise/work out room, and our bedroom. The girls at the office are making fun of me because we are painting the rooms in disney colors. I explained to them that disney just makes me feel good. the colors are tynkerbell green, dandilions for roo, and some color of blue--I can't remember what it is called. We redid our bedroom in the scattered mickey pattern. DH says what ever makes you happy. Isn't he great? we sent a picture of DS in his pirate outfit and Angie found me out--we even have mickey carpet in the living room. OW--I guess I do take it a little bit far--but when you can find most of it on ebay and the rest in the disney closeout section--who cares.
