evening - just a fly by posting before Grey's starts!

We went out to Shaner's for pizza....well I had a salad and the girls had pizza. John had to leave for his game before it came so I brought 3/4 of a pizza home for him.
On our way home we stopped at the mall and hit the Disney Store! OMG I spent $104.18 but I got:

adult POTC hooded zip up fleece 2 of them
adult POTC shirt - looks like a button up hawaiin shirt but POTC
adult CARS embroidered shirt
2 tink ls thermal shirts
2 aurora ls thermal shirts
2 cinderella embroidered shirts
2 tink embroidered shirts
2 satin varsity jackets ariel
2 nightgowns onepooh and one bambi (Samantha has a thing for nighties!)
3 pack panties
ariel sneakers
adult sally tshirt

I think that is a TON of stuff......not to mention - they HIRED ME ON THE SPOT! They are changing mgmt - and boy the old mgmt knew me!! - anyway this lady was up from Miami resetting it looked like and she got to talking to me and hired me, I mean got my info and everything. I am supposed to go fill out paperwork on Sunday. 30% off and she also said free WDW passes. and the 30% off is good at the Children's Place as well. Now the pay needs to be discussed ASAP....$6.75 WHAT? as a PT cashier at Home Depot I was making $11.50! I would love LOVE to do it. Don't know what DH will say??!!

They should definitely pay more, since you're gonna want to spend everything you make there!

Hi everyone! Is it too late to join this group?

We just booked this cruise after our plans changed for doing the August 2007 repo. We're a family of 4 -- two boys, ages 10 & 7.

We have some big life changes coming (DH is starting his own company), so this might be one of our last vacations for a while. Had to use that repo deposit somewhere....figured sooner was better than later!

Anyway, looking forward to a fun double dip, seeing The Flying Dutchman and meeting some great DIS'ers!

ds2Mom, welcome aboard! There are quite a few 7 year old boys on this group, including one of my sons. I also have a son who will be 5 on this ship. Looking forward to getting to know you!

you also asked about the shirts, I think there are a couple families not getting the green shirts. My crew won't be wearing green t-shirts, we're hoping to blend in to the woodwork.

Are we too late for any DIS group goodies? Are you doing buttons? Fish extenders? Wrist bands? (I love goodies!) I checked the Disney site for the lime green t-shirts, but alas, all gone. Guess I could spray paint the kiddos!

Diana, I asked them what time the buses started and I think maybe it was 9:30 or so? We were about 15 minutes after the first time, whenever that was. Are you staying at the Hyatt? AVOID the restaurants there -- terrible service! And so slow in the morning, it was comical. We would have been 45 minutes earlier if the service had been half way decent. I finally gave up on my entree and just grabbed a bagel from the buffet. And our lunch the previous day was even worse. But it was very handy to meet there since we were meeting my parents who were flying in from somewhere else. And they took our luggage right from our room sat the Hyatt over to the ship.

that's what I figured on the time...
no, we're staying in a condo with our Sunterra points so we'll have breakfast at McD's or poptarts in the car on the way over - gotta save room for the buffet lunch, anyway!!! LOL
We're thinking to leave the condo by 9 to get to airport and return rentals and find buses...

Do you by chance know the calories per serving? I'm not super familiar with how the whole point system works so I basically count calories every day. This recipe sounds yummy.

The total calories is 180....for the whole blender full.

uhhh...but I can't do the spinning - couldn't sit for a week the last (and only) time I did that!!

Hey that's what seat pads are for....

but really, our instructor says that you should hold in your stomach muscles and it takes the pressure off of your uhhh (rear). And the first class back is the worst. It takes a couple classes before you really get used to it.

Diana, find out which side the DCL buses leave from, so that you can return the rental car to the same side of the airport. It will save you frustration when you are looking forward to the happy cruise.

LOL - I'm sure that pads are helpful, but those butt bones were bruised for 2 weeks!! Hold in the stomach muscles??? When I took that class, I couldn't even find my stomach muscles!!! We were in a 6 week training program, and each week we tried a different class. I never took it again!

Diana, we are having a DIS meet on Thursday night at 10:15(45)pm for the Chocolate Buffet. This will be my third cruise and I have still not even seen the Dessert/Choclate buffet, lol. So, Lisa propose that I host the Chocolate meet and that way I would have to go, lol.

My DC is still in the hospital. She will be there for at least one more day. She is S L O W L Y getting better. I really appreciate all of the prayers. She does as well. We are still waiting to hear what was wrong with that cat.

Thanks for the tip PJ - I think that I read somewhere - must be in my pages of notes, that the buses are switching terminals this month (maybe)??
