I was going to release my brunch ressie for CM day yesterday, but I did it last week so I wouldn't forget. I am still wondering why they are having brunch on that day??

My New Nephew was born today!!!!

His name is Slate. He was born at 2:05 AM. He weighs 8 pounds and is 20 inches long! He is a real cutie! Mom barely made it to the hospital!!!! She never got her IV and the baby was born without breaking down the bed....just like her second! My brother was frantic driving there...but thank the Lord everything turned out just fine.

Congrats on the new Nephew!!!!

I wonder if that is why Mom didn't want to be induced - because she didn't want to mess with the IV, etc.. I know when I went in to have my kids I was almost as terrified of the IV as anything else! I would have gladly skipped that part but I would also not have wanted a mad rush to the hospital.

I had an IV with both kids. DS was induced but DD started on her own. I ended up getting epiderals with both of them. That was the thing that I was terrified for before DS. It was the first thing that I told them I wanted when I went in for DD. I am a convert!
