lbgraves said:I had an IV with both kids. DS was induced but DD started on her own. I ended up getting epiderals with both of them. That was the thing that I was terrified for before DS. It was the first thing that I told them I wanted when I went in for DD.
I am a convert!

It is painful! Then with DD they did it the morning I arrived for my scheduled c-section with her. Same thing - I just don't have good veins in my hands. My DS is feeding my DD cheerios....scary huh!pyramid2000 said:Have a great day Brandi! lbgraves said:That's terrible. The nurse told DH that I had one of the best epidurals the first time that she had covered.
I went from contractions a minute apart with back labor to being able to take a nap.
I didn't feel anything pushing DS out either. It was great with DD too. I have heard some horror stories though...just got lucky I guess.

What part of Georgia?pyramid2000 said:My niece who is here while DH is in Iraq came up with a plan for me yesterday. He is due to come home end of November/beginning of December at this point. Depending on when, she is thinking I can go down with to Georgia her since I am driving to Florida, so I can take some of her stuff. I might be able to help her look for a place to live (they gave up their housing and are going to rent) if the timing is right. I may just get an extended vacation!![]()

With DS I was in the hospital with pre-eclampsia about 5 days before he was born so I got the IV then and it was not easy. They have to poke me over and over with that huge needle to get it in.It is painful! Then with DD they did it the morning I arrived for my scheduled c-section with her.
