It will be next Friday before we get back and there is NO internet service at camp .... for now. I am working on that.

You all have a great week.

Have a great time Brack!! :wave2:

Hi everyone! We have been at an Ice Skating competition for DD this weekend and just got home. Good News!! She won!!! First place!! What a rush. I can see why parents like this whole competitive thing. I, however, do not think I can take this kind of stress. She is way more composed than I am.

I am going to catch up now...

kim

Wow Kim!! Congrats to DD!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

My DDs can barely rollerskate! :teeth:

Not me! I couldn't wait to turn 30! My 20s were so difficult that I figured the 30s had to be better. Little did I know that I would be engaged on my 30th birthday and pick out the ring with DH2B that afternoon. My 30s have been amazing...and that doesn't even make it sound good enough. I married the love of my life, we have two beautiful children who I love more than anything in this world (even when they challenge me ;)), and we have watched them grow and learn. :cloud9: My 40s are right around the corner and I am looking forward to another wonderful decade.

I have also loved my 30s so far, but your story is wonderful. What a great way to celebrate your special day!!

And it makes memories and anniversaries easier to remember!! ;)

Lisa, when I bought mine this year I got 2 years of FREE Tide Detergent. I got a coupon book with 40 coupons for Tide. I have not purchased it for a long time. Good deal!

Now that is an awesome deal! :thumbsup2

magicbride2b that is. Glad to be part of this board. She said it was lively!

:welcome:

I tried in vain to get my sister to come with us, but she seetled for a longer and :ssst: cheaper RCCL cruise to the S.Caribbean. :sad2: I tried to guilt her by saying she can take her two grandsons with her so their mom could get some peace since it would be soon after she had her third baby. I threatened to tell the grandsons too! :rotfl: :rotfl: Didn't work though. Something about being more than twice as much and been there, done that as to the places we will be going. :confused3

morning! I was able to snag a Palo dinner for my dad. No brunches avail and the CC tour is only showing avail on Sunday.

hi V - wondered if you were up too! ya, no brunch - bummer!! I did get my parasailing though!!

does the banana boat book up or can you walk up and get on the day of? kendell isn't old enough and I know he will be disappointed! :(

Its 6:15am on the first day us lowly 75-day ressie makers can book, and I already don't see any availability for Palo brunches or the Fury Catamaran trip in Cozumel. Is that normal?? :confused3

Good morning and happy Monday everyone!

John,

No she cannot come to the bachelor party. You are all married men and I will just tell you all, she won every stage of the swimsuit competition. If she weren't my cousin, I would not let my hubby anywhere near her. Although she is the SWEETEST girl! She met a guy on the plane last week on the way to the competition and he came last night! With flowers! Freaked her out a lot. Good thing her brothers are all 6.3 - 6.5 and about 250.

You know what they say about funerals being for the living? I have heard them say that is similar for bachelor parties (not that I would know from experience!)

My New Nephew was born today!!!!

His name is Slate. He was born at 2:05 AM. He weighs 8 pounds and is 20 inches long! He is a real cutie! Mom barely made it to the hospital!!!! She never got her IV and the baby was born without breaking down the bed....just like her second! My brother was frantic driving there...but thank the Lord everything turned out just fine.

Congrats to you and your family Brandi!! Relieved to hear that she at least made it to the hospital! :thumbsup2

:woohoo: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

I started to catch up last night, but never made it to the end. :lmao: :lmao:

Trudging, trundging, trudging... :surfweb:

My family has a strange tradition of decorating the house of someone bringing home a baby. The strange part is that they use an ENORMOUS stuffed animal. When the first niece was born, Jake, and the second niece we passed around a HUGE (think size of an adult) buffalo. With the rest we have been using a huge tiger. They usually stand on a truck and tie it high on the tele pole. My DH does road work and overhead signs. He brought home a bucket truck...let's just say that he is currently at my DSIL and Brothers house...placing a very large tiger....very very high....

He also has a "It's a Boy" sign. They are supposed to come home tomorrow...so he had to go down tonight.

Sounds very original to me!

Don't they have the 48 hour rule anymore? I begged them to let me go home with Dina, but I had to wait.....UGH!
