So, I bought a new dress a couple of days ago and wore it today but nobody really noticed.

What types of things do you iron Lisa? I only iron something when I need it as does DH. He actually irons much better than me. I think I have ironed the girls' stuff only once or twice! Now my DGM was a different story. She ironed EVERYTHING!! Including underwear!!

Well, I HATE the wrinkled look. DH's pants & shirts for work. The kid's tops & DD's dresses & skirts/skorts. DS's pants for Church. My denim shorts/capris...hate the way the hem folds up. Also, our tshirts (or should I be posting that? ) This is probably 2-3 week's worth of stuff. When the ironing board is out it is in our family room. I pile the stuff on the dryer until it gets too big and then it gets moved to the corner of the family room. I use to never iron but a couple years ago I guess that I had more time to notice the wrinkles and it started bothering me.

Yes, and long enough to catch up, but the eyes are drooping.

I really need to go start dinner. Taco's tonight! Went to the grocery store after I picked up DD from school and they were "Yeah"!! I don't go shopping very often. Then I told them I only had $15 on me so just dinner.

Did everyone go Mexican for dinner tonight? After smelling the pork all day I haven't eaten dinner. I'm just not hungry...too tired & my neck is too stiff. I finished the iroing!!! The laundry is folded and the last load is going into the dryer. It is a dark one so there will probably be more to iron after that.

I was thinking of the group as a whole but splitting us up that way might be good to allow enough space for everyone to sign...as well as getting everyone to sign them in the dining room?

I can't believe that I forgot to tell you guys about what DD told me after school yesterday. OY! She walked up to me outside the school & pointed out a boy saying that is XX. I said OK. She then told me that he told her and another girl in their class that he was going to bring a knife in the next day and cut them. I stayed calm and asked if either of them told the teacher. Well, she kind of stumbled on that part saying that the other girl did and then yes. She looked like she was afraid that she would get into trouble for it. I had to go into the school to hang up a sign anyhow, so when I saw the principal in the hall I told the kids to sit down and wait for me. I told her exactly what DD said and she went to talk to their teacher. Apparently this happened at the end of school and her teacher called the principal on the radio after I talked to her. DD was afraid to go in today but said that he wasn't in school today because he had been mean. OMG!!!!!

Something very similar happened to DD when she was in 2nd grade. Her teacher had asked her to hand out lollypops to the students and she came to this one boy who insisted DD give him 2. DD said no and the boy said "I'm gonna slice you up!" DD came home so scared and crying. I was infuriated. The school didn't do much more than a slap on the wrist. I think he got a detention.

DH wants to buy stuff for his pirate outfit now but I keep telling him to wait until the day after Halloween and we will be able to get it CHEAP! He thinks they will sell out of everything before then. Thoughts?

It might be a gamble to wait, it seems like Pirates are very "in" this year, BUT there is always ebay after Halloween when everyone tries to get rid of their stuff so I'm sure you'll find something even if you wait.

OK....posting about MK for a bit here. If you get into MK first thing in the morning on a day when they have the party at night....I have read that they don't make everyone leave before letting the party tickets in. I know that with the extra magic hours you needed a bracelet. If you didn't have that, you just couldn't ride anything but were not led out of the park.

So....all the kids have been talking about seeing has been in MK...so I have been telling them, no we wont see that this time. Well, DH has suggested that we go there. The park is suppose to close for the day at 7 pm after Wishes. I can't find the times for the Christmas Parade. With so many of you going on Thursday maybe we could meet for that & then the four of us can head back to the resort, or watch the fireworks from outside the park like we have in the past first.

Oh, they take threats of any kind very seriously. In fact, DS's friend was put in 2 day suspension in Kindergarten because he was joking around with a friend & said "I'm going to kill you for that" while laughing. They are so strict with it that there is no room for common sense. It is on his perminant school record too.

Came home early, took some Nyquil and I think I will put Becka's cold down for a nap in a minute.

I told you it is Allie's cold. She is giving it to everyone!!! In fact I think she sneezed on the computer the other day so that is why you guys have come down with the same cold as well.
