You know, for the crafty types, it's impossible to get out of that store quickly. I went in for one thing and spent an hour there....
and I have my sale coupons for this weekend....

On those coupons,

Ok our cars. Of course my first cars were basically junkers, VW Bug, VW Rabbits (one a diesel). But they were also lots of fun. Also had a baby blue Grenada....I'm thinking I wrote this before!

My first new car was a Ford Festiva. Had no trouble with it until I hit the back of an child-empty school bus in the rain. Then DH and I had an old Honda Civic for quite some time. Got a used Chevy Lumina after Amanda was born. DH got a new Ford F-150 in 2002. Didn't listen to me when I told him he should get one with a back seat, but decided he wanted one of THOSE the following year! So he got a used one. When Dina was born, I had to give in and get a minivan. Two carseats and a growing 8 yo were not going to fit very comfortably in the backseat of a car. So I got a 2004 Toyota Sienna. The new model came out in April of 2003 so I got lots of extra "new" time out of it! I got the 8 seater so I could lug around everyone else's kids! Plus I had the new baby and it fit me and my friend's family for our summer trips to Cape Cod before our friend came down here. Thinking I will be keeping this one for a very long time.....Gotta check the meat!!!

Came home early, took some Nyquil and I think I will put Becka's cold down for a nap in a minute.

Hope you feel better Angie!! I actually took a 2 hour nap today, just because I was tired!!

PEOPLE! We must reach the milestone before I have to leave. Can you imagine me saying to DD's teacher: Oh, sorry to be late, we had to get to the milestone on the message board with my internet friends!!!!

And thought you were talking about your DH2B.... I thought it was cute that you were calling him adorable. Then I reread the post and realized you were talking about an infant.....not that men can't be considered infants at times....okay I'll stop here b/c 1) now I've admitted that I had my blonde moment for the day and 2) I'm gonna get in trouble with John for saying men can be infants at time.

Guess this is what happens when we read too fast trying to catch up on all the posts.

I can't believe that I forgot to tell you guys about what DD told me after school yesterday. OY! She walked up to me outside the school & pointed out a boy saying that is XX. I said OK. She then told me that he told her and another girl in their class that he was going to bring a knife in the next day and cut them. I stayed calm and asked if either of them told the teacher. Well, she kind of stumbled on that part saying that the other girl did and then yes. She looked like she was afraid that she would get into trouble for it. I had to go into the school to hang up a sign anyhow, so when I saw the principal in the hall I told the kids to sit down and wait for me. I told her exactly what DD said and she went to talk to their teacher. Apparently this happened at the end of school and her teacher called the principal on the radio after I talked to her. DD was afraid to go in today but said that he wasn't in school today because he had been mean. OMG!!!!!
