BTW, I have the list for the Costa Maya excursion on the DIS meet & excursion page of the site. I think that it is page 3?

Lisa, you pirate: !!

V - when will you know if you are accepted in Grad School? Payment is not due until Sept. It will all work out for the best. Read Mark's signature. :)

YYYAAAAWWWWNNNNNNN!!!!!!!

Good morning everyone. I'm a bit tired after an hour and a half chemistry lesson last night. Seems I have phosphates in the pool. I had 4 different poeple at the pool store trying to figure out what to add...change...do...
My head hurts!

My son Adam is sitting beside me right now reading what I am typing. Hi Adam!!! This is that silly place that mommy goes to all the time and spends here time. Do you want me to post this? Okay - watch this...

Sorry for the confusion on that last post everyone. I was trying to explain to Adam what mommy was typing.

Back to my phosphate story...I think phosphates is a nice word for algae. Anyone know? The water is cloudy and I had to add all these chemicals last night and this AM. Guess our salt generator wasn't working. DH headed off to DC (Hey Lisa - isn't yours out of town too?) and left me with all this headache.

To all you DW - remember - when they say "Don't worry, hun, I'll do all the work..." RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Karen - good luck with the pool! Doesn't is always seem that when your DH is away everything falls apart! Good Luck!

Hey all of the Dec 2005 cruisers. Remember Linda from the cruise? We need some prayers and pixie dust sent her way. Her son is in the hospital with an anaerobic infection from a dog bite. :sad2: He got bitten on Saturday (by their dog). They didn't take him in to get it checked out then, but they had called a doctor friend of theirs to find out what to do for him. They came to our house for dinner on Sunday. He was limping a lot and by the end of the evening there was an odor from the wound. Linda took him in on Monday and they ended up admitting him for IV antibiotics. I just got an email from her this morning saying that when she left the hospital at 4pm yesterday she was optomistic, but when she got back at 8pm last night it looked worse. :sad2:

Cristi, thanks for letting us know! Give Linda our best. I hope that they are able to clear up the infection quickly.

I win the mean Mommy award today. :( The kids have been bickering all morning. DD took the blanket from DS & was biting it in her mouth. I pulled it away from her & gave it back to him. I turned back around & saw a look of terror on her face...then she screamed. I almost pulled her front tooth out. :( Now, we have been waiting for both of her lower front teeth to loosen up & fall out because there are already two new teeth behind them but only one was starting to wiggle ever so slightly. That tug of the blanket pulled it forward, made it bleed, and of course sting. She is freaking out. :( She doesn't want her tooth to fall out but it wont be long now. It's not quite to the point DS's was on the cruise, Cristi...but a couple of bites into anything is going to snap the back. DH gets home tomorrow night so hopefully he will help to make this a fun thing. YIKES! At least we don't have to take her to the dentist & have a secure tooth pulled out now...right? Bad mommy. :(

Don't feel bad Lisa. Rachel will forever tell the story of how I knocked out her first tooth. :) We were playing with magic mitts (velcro mitts that you wear and then throw a tennis ball back and forth). I tossed it to her and it hit her in the face. Knocked the tooth right out. It was pretty loose though.

When Jacob was little (around 4 I think) he fell on the playground and smacked his mouth on the steps for the slide. It loosened two of his front teeth, but neither one fell out. It did "kill" the one tooth though and he had a black tooth in the front for about 2 years until it fell out on its own. The other tooth that loosened, tightened up again after a few days on its own.

Then last summer Jacob got kicked in the face (his friend was practicing karate and Jacob walked in front of him) and a tooth came out root and all. He is just now getting a new tooth in that spot.

Cristi, please keep us updated on Linda's son and assure her they are in our prayers. Good to hear from you again! :grouphug: Tell your kids hello from us. What fun it was to listen to their adventures at dinner last year.

I'll let you know when I hear anything else from Linda.
The kids say Hi too Angie. I just asked Jacob if he remember you guys and he said, "Of course I do" and gave kind of a little bow.

Prayers being sent!!! Please let us know how her son is doing.

Just thought I would check in and say Hi. I havent been on much at all. To many things going on with the boys out of school last week. WE went to see CARS Monday night. It was so good. It was the best movie I have seen in a long time. Well gotta go again. See ya.

Anyway I was just wondering sence we are so close to cruise time, If people have figured out how they are getting to the ship. I still havent figured out if we are getting a limo, towncar or what. Anyone else want to share? I still can't decide if I am brave enough to rent a car and let DH drive after the cruise. I should get this all figured out thoe. Not much time left after all. P.M. If you want as by the time I get back on there will be 10 more pages for me to read. Mum

Penny is looking for a ride. Angie is considering what to do as well. We are driving down from NC.
