Well, they are finally getting around to interviewing for the new position I applied for at work. Took a long time to sort thru as there were over 100 applicants. Narrowed down to 12 that they are going to interview. I'm one of those 12.
So, my interview is at 8:30 tomorrow morning. I was the first one they called to set up an interview and I choose the first slot. Send some Pixie Dust my way! I feel really prepared for this. I have read all the Directives and Memoranda for the service and studied the likely interview questions. (the VA has a site you can pull interview questions from for specific positions and as their written application questions came from this site I figured the interview questions might too.
) So, if I am not selected it will not be because I was not prepared.
I will be interviewing with a panel of 5 people, but I was told I "know them all and will be fine" by the person setting up the interviews.
We will see what God has in mind. The interviews will all be completed by Tuesday noon next week, so hopefully I will hear by Friday.
