Good morning everyone! The kids woke me up with lots of little goodies. DS wrote a letter that made me cry. I did wake up to burning arms though...I guess that the sun was stronger than I thought yesterday. Just relaxing this afternoon...DH & DD are at the store. This week I attack the kid's rooms & stencil the walls!!!

It's "Graduation Season" and the Tshirt quilt business is busy out my ears. So, back to work I go. It just means more money for the trip!

Patsy - I looked at your website. Your quilts are pretty neat. My mom makes traditional quilts. She made a Thomas one for my son and is going to make Eliza a princess quilt. I really like the shirt thing. They seem like a great gift for a grad~!!!

To all our Moms, Happy Mother's Day! I got to spend the day with my mom and treated her to dinner and gifted her, her very first pair of Crocs, she borrowed mine last week and loved them.

Thanks Brandi! You'd be suprised how many events HS and College kids get T-shirts for. I'd love to make traditional quilts too but I just don't have the time. And, my closets are already full of Tshirt quilts.

If your Mom decides to try a Tquilt there are instructions on my website . How about all cruise shirts?

Thank you!!! I have been praying and trusting. See - I don't feel worthy or experienced enough. But I feel this push.... I just want to be sure I'm doing it for the right reason and that I can give them enough of my time and attention.

Glad that you are going to get your shirt, Brandi. That is upsetting.

We spent the day at the beach. It was a little chilly when the sun went behind the clouds but sure warmed up when they passed on by. The kids had no problem getting in the water. I got my feet wet putting DD's swim vest on her but that was enough for me! YIKES! It reminded me of CC in December. It was great to have 3 hours in the warm sun with the kids playing with the others around us & not fighting the entire time!!!!!! DS fell asleep on the ride home...so the peace continued.

Lisa - what beach? I miss Wrightsville Beach so much! I can't even begin to tell you what it was like to live at a beach house my senior year of college. And then they had this drawbridge that often didn't want to come down. "sorry professor...the bridge was up and we couldn't get to class!"

Karen, you would have liked Shane's statement at the final tribal council then. He wanted to vote for Terri.

We go to Fort Macon Park. There is plenty of parking & bathrooms with a ramp going down to the beach.
