I think I may call the travel agency and see. How do I ask without sounding completely off my rocker?

Hi, yes we are paid in full already and we would like to save even more cash by dropping down to a 12 and keeping our current Palo and excursion reservations.
That won't sound crazy, that is exactly what you say. Check the internet price first...per PJ

I did remember to ask if my ressie number would change and was told no it would not, so Lisa's list includes that information for the Dinning Manager, it would only be the room numbers that might cause an issue, LISA?

ABSOLUTELY! Before I had my hip replacement I would go in the Rainforest and lay on the stone chairs to relieve the arthritis pain. I am hooked and will go back this time. I like the Rainforest better than the pools.
Way better than the pools. When we cruise without kids we go every day. :sunny:

We have sailed with a window only 2 of our 7 trips. Honestly, we are not in our room except to sleep and dress. BUT we also do not have little ones that need to nap, so that is something to think about. Do you spend time in the room during naps, and if so how important is seeing outside during that time? Is the amount of money worth the tradeoff?

I was worried about naps to but then I started thinking that while I loved the light coming in it might be easier to get the kids down for a nap with it darker and it was not like I was looking out the window when they were napping either. I was resting on the bed or watching TV.

With all that said I feel sick to my stomach but what is done is done. We will see how it goes and hopefully it will be a good experience. Maybe it will save us money in the future if we decide the inside rooms are good enough.

What a rollercoaster...

Update on my dog... I thought he was doing "okay".... he'll never be "better" but things were okay. Well yesterday he developed these "bedsores" on his paws... from laying on them all day. Both rear paws -- one he lays on all the time. He never sleeps in any other position. So now he's kinda bleeding/oozing from both paws. He is also whimpering more, even when he is up and walking around. I think he's in alot of pain.

I tried to delude myself into thinking that his quality of life hasn't changed much because he's ALWAYS done nothing but lay around the house (for at least the last few years) but now he can't even, or doesn't want to, go outside and sniff the grass and wander around.

:guilty: :grouphug:

Now that is a story to tell him over, and over, and over... :lmao:

We have not done autograph books since..... :lmao:

I thought about trying them this year but I think we might have the same problem with Allie. :goodvibes

We are going to cause her one heck of a headache? Does anyone know her address so we can send some "I'm Sorry" Excedrin? :thumbsup2

You'll have to go early. There are only four chairs and I'll be in one of them.
Annette will be in one and DrHug and I will be in the other two. :teeth: However, feel free to come on up and enjoy that wonderful warm room to the right of us, and of course the two steam rooms and the showers. ;) :lmao:

Can I hang with Annette!, lol. I have some spare $$ to splurge with now.

DU got a hold of me and we are making the switch to Cat 12 GTY and since there are 4 of us that means at least a Cat 11. We are saving $1187.12 which is about enough to pay for next year's WDW vacation since we already have our tickets.

I hope we like an inside room. I always said I wanted at least a window for some light - I guess we might find out how we like it. At least I will be on the Magic so it can't be too bad, right? And maybe we will get some pixie dust and get upgraded back to a Cat 9 or even offered the chance to upgrade to a 9 at the port for less $$$.

How big is the single bath in the Cat 11's? I didn't really see the benefit of the split bath and honestly thought I would prefer one that was not split and slightly larger.

Thanks!

What have I done???? :faint:
The split bath is handy if someone needs to "use the facilities" when someone else is in the shower, but it's NOT $1100 worth of convenient as far as I'm concerned.

Oh my!
I've finally reached the end!
You know, I was up reading the boards until midnight last night. Thought I wouldn't have much catching up to do!

What a sweet story!
We never got into the autograph thing before but bought a book for the last cruise. It was a lot more fun than we expected.
The characters love it - we heard from a character ;) - if you have actual story book too. We bought one with LOTS of Disney stories in it and our character contact got everone in the book to sign it! It is one of my most treasured Disney items. :goodvibes We have signatures of all the Princes, even Lady and Tramp gave us their paw prints!
