(well except maybe the thong in DrHugs face just that once. ) It is open the first night, I think, but I had heard that the clubs were only open to "families" not kids alone the first night. Lisa, is that still the way it is??

No, that changed this past summer. You can now drop kids off at the clubs.

HI Marielle...Thanks for the "package". Abby really loved it.... Now the two dogs fight over who gets the old one... (they like both of them....squished or not.)

When I re-booked I received the same confirmation codes for each and every booking, and I am now on the phone with DCL about my Palo brunch.

Hi, yes we are paid in full already and we would like to save even more cash by dropping down to a 12 and keeping our current Palo and excursion reservations.

When I went in January I was busy with the TA. I changed my room about 3 times to be closer to my friend. Then a CAT 12 GTY came out, so I switched to that to save some money. Wound up about 2 doors down from my last assignment.

I could not fall asleep last night. I laid in bed until 4AM when my DH's alarm went off. The second it went off I started telling him about the cruise price difference. After that I finally fell asleep. Eliza woke up at 7 AM. I am so tired. I can't believe I couldn't fall asleep last night. I will pay for that all day!!!

So what did you do???????

Cozumel Jeep Tour

Okay , I have now got the company that we are working with for our jeeps in Cozumel. I talked to the owner this morning and he has made us a good offer considering Dec is high season for them . The jeeps will cost 55.00 USD and that includes the rental, insurance and GAS ..wahoo . The gas part was a shock , but he said since we were just going around the island he would take care of that so we also didnt have to stop at one of the gas stations (which can be a pain for some non spanish speaking people ) . .

The nice thing is the rental car company is right down the street from the pier , a 5 minute walk at most .

So what I need from you is if you are going please email me your full names , addresses (just the person who is renting-Driving) and phone numbers . So if we need 13 jeeps , I need 13 names ... I need to put a list together to get to him so when we get there things can go smooth and fast ..

Ok, I am looking at this price thing.
If we booked a 12 reg price now it would be 1904.32 per DCL. I am looking at Fl rates and it would be around 1823. for an 11...I could save 366.12 or 447.44 by dropping down from a 9 to an 11 or 12. Hmmm....don't know about not having a window. And will a TA do it this late?

I was able to rebook Palo dinner, but not brunch. So for right now I have 7 pm dinner on Sunday, but no Brunch on Monday. Now I am going to go back and see about excursions.

What a rollercoaster...

Update on my dog... I thought he was doing "okay".... he'll never be "better" but things were okay. Well yesterday he developed these "bedsores" on his paws... from laying on them all day. Both rear paws -- one he lays on all the time. He never sleeps in any other position. So now he's kinda bleeding/oozing from both paws. He is also whimpering more, even when he is up and walking around. I think he's in alot of pain.

I tried to delude myself into thinking that his quality of life hasn't changed much because he's ALWAYS done nothing but lay around the house (for at least the last few years) but now he can't even, or doesn't want to, go outside and sniff the grass and wander around.

That is kind of what I was thinking and with kids as young as our using the bathroom at the same time someone is in the bath/shower is not that big of a deal.

Is there a little more room to move around. I felt like the two split baths were so small you would sit down and have your knees touching the opposite wall!

I was worried about naps to but then I started thinking that while I loved the light coming in it might be easier to get the kids down for a nap with it darker and it was not like I was looking out the window when they were napping either. I was resting on the bed or watching TV.

With all that said I feel sick to my stomach but what is done is done. We will see how it goes and hopefully it will be a good experience. Maybe it will save us money in the future if we decide the inside rooms are good enough.

If it makes you feel any better, I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked our CAT 11 room last cruise. We waffled FOREVER about paying more for a verandah or window, but because it was just the 3 day, we decided to save the money.

We were really pleased with the room. I like staying "nice" and my family calls me a travel snob, and the room was totally acceptable to me. My only complaint was luggage storage -- it was such a pain taking things out of our suitcase in that cramped scloset pace. But we could have unpacked more of our belongings to fix this situation, and didn't, really because we were there such a short time. That would have made it MUCH easier to have more stuff in the drawers.

As I told you before, my friend -- who is also a travel snob -- her husband is a professional hockey player and they travel and stay in nice, nice places -- thought she was going "cheap" with a Category 9. She was thrilled with her room, and most surprised when she walked in mine and didn't see too much of a difference. She wondered why she hadn't done a Cat. 11 as well.

Think of the money you have saved, and the extra trip to WDW. That's some serious dough -- a trip worth.

The DCL manager called me back to let me know that all my ressies were reinstated, no problem. Palo Brunch, dinner, high tea, and a few excursions. He was VERY apologetic.

It was really no problem at all.............
