Rachel is not as paniced as before. I gave her lots of tips that i learned for feeding Greg and now that she feels she has a way to help she is thinking more clearly. If you feel you can take control of a situation you dont feel so desperate and then wont dwell on the worst that could happen like the doctor did with her. Her attitude really counts when battling this disease.
My mom is still with us but its hour to hour any more. my brother saw her yesterday and said she has a large crease across the top of her eye brows like she fell against a shelf and hit her head. She is not suppose to walk anywhere on her own, but it does happen. She is sneaky
So nobody knows what happened and she doesnt remember. She appears to be ok with it, although we expect it to looked bruised soon.
You can still make her smile and laugh and she wants to see pictures all the time now when she gets visitors.
Her heart just keeps beating and by all medical reasoning it shouldnt be.
She was alittle more fuzzy mentally yesterday but she said she felt good.
If our weather clears some I will go to visit her soon. I am making out Christmas cards today and will mail her one. She loves to get mail.
My kids are sending her a card too. So that will be nice.
I was reading the literature Dan left for me from Brookstone and she fits all but a couple of the signs for end of life. 3 weeks ago she didnt show as many.
But as long as she is happy and not hurting I am glad she is still with us. I dont want her to get to stage 3 Dimentia. That is just no way to live. There is no quality to life then and she is getting very close to that stage.
I really hate the helpless feeling of not being able to do anything for her accept visit when i can. It hardly seems enough considering all she has done for me over the years.
Greg,
how cold are you guys today?
I think all our weather is from this one big storm and after we get it, it curves around to you guys and on across the U.S. to Denise and others.
I guess my chanting is working pretty good.
I did get a good one over on my brother today and will get my other brother after work.
I called Dan ( he just turned 65). I told him on the news they have been saying we should all check on our neighbors and the elderly so I though I should check on the elderly so I called to see how he was doing in the cold.

ZINGER!! That got him good
