OK, I know many people with late dining have linked their ressies so they can sit together:thumbsup2

Now has anyone done this for people with early dining yet??
I do remember reading someone asking about it a few weeks ago but dont know if anyone responded to it.

So anyone with early dining , Do you want to link dinner reservations??
Okie, Jeff, Dawn, Sharon, Danielle?? Anybody else got early? We need to do this soon if we are going to go it. Please let me know what you think.
Any new people, if you have late dining contact Shell, if you want to link up dinner ressies. I think she is the one who took care of this, if not please speak up who ever is in charge so people will know who to contact if they want to link up.

Yep count us in with you Kathy for ressies.......

Good am cruisers. We are booked on 11/24 also. Is there a cruise list we can get on?
Info on us- me- mom(top princess), dh and ds(6)
we live in Bucks County PA and are self-employed
This will be our 3rd disney cruise; cruised the wonder and the magic(when one of the ports was Antigua)
Planning to arrive the nite before, Radisson? might stay a bit after the cruise. Just beginning my planning. Hoping to get in more adult time, ds liked the club last time and hope he can hook up with a buddy to like it more this time;) We have early dining. I plan to get a week pass for the rainforest, love it! probably get a massage and do the suriel(?)
I read there is a martini tasting, any info? the dumbotron is new since our last trip. Anything else new in the last couple of years?
For St Maarten I'm thinking about the sunset beach to watch the planes. Not sure about St Thomas. I like to plan my own excursions, see the island and hit a beach.
I'm a big disney fan, not in comparison to other fans on this board:) ds is a disney fan and dh comes along for the ride.
Looking forward to getting to know you and meet-up on board.

Welcome!!!--We are from Chester County, Pa I'm Okie, DH Rick, DS Josh 17 and DD Chelsea 15......:)

Oh goodie- we are talking about excursions.... wanna snorkle on St. Thomas day-St. Marteen is reserved for Orient Beach and lunch at Kon Tiki and would love to see the airport beach at sunset...
so, which snorle trip to do.... looked at doubloon and now I am now looking at the Golden Eagle.. more comments? Wil have three teens with me:eek:

Judy, we have done the Doubloon 2 years in a row...My kids Loved it...we went to different spots to snorkle each year...I work with a girl that did the Golden Eagle and like Shell and Bill she raved about it.....

Actually hon, you goofed, twice. First, you're making reference to the wrong thread--the 08 people got a look at dear Uncle Herb. Second, thats not my uncle Kenny, its actually my cousin, Vinnie(buh-ump-domp). I promise to remember Margaret Ann if you get a few of my relatives right.

Wheres Kathy with the answers to all of my DCL mysteries? We're towin the line on this end, boss!

I'm here, I'm here, gee whiz you guys cant seem to get along without me for a few hours. I feel like a mom to ya:lmao:
Bill,
I would say ask the Dining room manager for the special dish as long as you know the name or can describe it so there is no doubt what you are talking about. They usually have pity on aging, balding men and try to be kind to them. They are the ones who make the MAGIC happen, not the waiters for the extra special favors.
You may be able to look at a Palo's menu that is posted outside the door to Palos to get the name if you dont know it.

Shell, glad you posted the family photo, I do see the family resemblance between Bill and his relatives accept they have more hair;)

Okie,
glad your going to link up for dinner. just PM you ressie number and last name.
I will link us all later in the week afer more have a chance to respond and I will let you know when it is all done.

well we went to see the Simpson movie and although it was funny in parts it wasnt as great as all the hype about it. it is worth seeing once if your a fan but not really anything extra special

Order piza delivered tonight so NO cooking here, good thing because it is too hot to cook. i would of been PB&J sandwiches if Greg hadnt ordered pizza.

I will check back soon to see how my kiddos are doing I need to catch up on my mail, I see I have a couple Pm's to get to.

Kathy

Alright, so we're narrowing it down. We definitely don't want to "hang out" at every beach. We're looking forward to the Adult Beach at CC but we live at the beach, so we're just not into it. I've been to the Caribbean and I realize it's MUCH NICER than our beach, but still................

So, I'm glad to hear we will have plenty of time to explore the ship. I like to visit all the places. I'm the kind of person who loves to sit on a bench off of Main St in WDW and people watch and just revel in the "magic" of the World.

Okay, so I'm looking at the PP and the St. John/Trunk Bay Excursion only gets a "6" rating. Most of the negativity seems to surround the ferry ride over. Maybe if enough of us are on this, we could liven it up:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: Captain Nautica's St. John Snorkeling Expedition gets a "9". What do you guys thing about that:confused3

I'm going to try and narrow it down to one snorkeling excursion. I don't know if we're going to book an excursion for St. Maarten or just "wing it". You know about winging it right Mutt:rolleyes1 Maybe I'll even be able to lose my husband along the way and act confused later:rotfl2:

good thing because it is too hot to cook

We had the craziest weather here today. It started off scorching like it has been the last few days and then out of nowhere comes thunder and lightning and HAIL. Lots of hail. The cool thing about it was when it was over, the temperature had dropped about 15 degrees.:thumbsup2

Yippeee another snorkler- I too have looked at snorkle trip until I am blue- :confused3 now I am checking departure times, etc. I am a "wing it" girl but the thought of the ship leaving me behind in St. Johns would ruin all of my stress free times and I'd never enjoy St. Johns.
I WILL pick one soon- now, on to old navigators to check departure time....
will let you know what I find...

Ready to Book? :sail: NO!!!!!!

I'm feeling the need to really start pinning down an itinerary because we get to start booking Sept. 2. You CC Members are already eligible aren't you? So, please be patient.

What about casinos in St. M? Which would you suggest?

If you like to drink like a pirate, go to the Doubloon. :rolleyes1
Yes, we have been there twice, and its been fantastic each year, just watch out for the fire coral

Josh,
how do you know about drinking like a pirate??
I know how old you are, surely you must of only seen others drinking, right:confused3
I know teenagers would NEVER lie about their age and get a drink on the islands. Just because they never seem to check ID there:rolleyes1

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Kathy

Drink? You mean there will be opportunities to drink while on this vacation? I'm truly :rotfl: shocked Thanks for the heads up. I think that one is Jacob's choice. You say it was great huh? I TOTALLY trust your opinion as I think you may have the most sense of anyone on this thread:rotfl2:

How many tuxedo wearers(sp?) do we have here?

NO tuxes here.

That reminds me,
Bill do you still have your awesome tennis shoes you were going to wear last year?? maybe you can get to wear them this year!!:woohoo: :woohoo:

Wore my tux on the first cruise...a black suit on the second. I think I will be sticking with the suit on this cruise. More comfy and can wear it on semi formal night if I so choose...

Tux was cool to wear on that first cruise...but it's just a pain to pack and take.

Tuxedo??? what the heck is that? an aminal? :confused3

Geez, Kathy...for an ol lady, you sure are full of p**s and vinegar today. You must have taken your vitamins. And HOW do you remember stuff like the red nikes? (I was going to wear them last year to freeze the wifes soul on formal night until I remembered that I had gotten so used to that "breathing" thing.) Oh yeah, a rare act of civility to ya....ty for the dining info...I'll take your advice. I know the dish by heart. Its a grilled portobella mushroom with polenta and a shallot sauce.

Just a dark suit for me, Kim....not really a tux kinda fella. As far as the excursions go, we can coordinate that as it gets closer--I'll do my research and you do yours. See what we come up with.

Tell ya what Josh....I'll buy you your very first drink on the ship....hows that?
