Good morning everybody.
Well it's another rainy day here in Maine if it keeps up we will need an Arch.
It better Be nice starting next Saturday because we are headed for York Beach for two weeks. I need to work on that tan for Oct.
Yesterday Nancy went Strawberry picking with our daughter inlaw and grandchildren. We have enough fresh Maine strawberries to last a while.
I had a big bowel of them with part of my breakfast. I have a feeling we will be having some strawberry shortcake for desert for supper.
Also thanks for everybody inquiring about Nancys Dad. He is recovering very well after his surgary. At 89 he is in good shape.

Have a safe trip Cass & Chris and every one else traveling. We are going to have a quiet at home week end. DS # 2 is working all week end so we will try to plan a cook out around his schedule and the kids next door.

Hope you get some sun up there in Maine, we have pleanty. The a/c is getting replaced so it's going to be hot in here this morning.

I've gotten a couple of questions from my in-laws while planning shore excursions. I'm hoping someone can help me out!

1. At St. Maarten, where on the island do we dock? Do we dock, or tender?

2. At St. Thomas, where on the island do we dock? Do we dock, or tender?

3. Is there a way to find out what the times are for the excursions? Or will this show up when the booking window opens up?

I treated myself today - bought 2 linen skirts and a summer dress.

The skirts are a size UK 12 (the dress is still a 14 though)

I'm still sticking to my diet.... its been a whole week and 1/2 now... dont think I've ever lasted this long before

I also bought some new shoes...shhhh, Dont tell Neil, he'll see them this weekend when we go away..."New shoes? ...these old things?.... noooooooooo, I've had them ages".... he wont fall for it, but he'll just play along and pay the credit card bill when it arrives

Off to photography this afternoon. I think its the last session today.

I didnt get round to posting what we did last week -

We had to photograph the item of our choice using different modes and angles eg macro, landscape etc etc. I chose a tree, macro on leaves, pine cone and bark, portrait - with a subject infront of it so the tree actaully became part of the negative space, landscape - from a distance etc, I photographed up from the trunk through the canopy etc etc. Quite amazing how the "object" looked so different when using different modes and actually thinking of different ways to photograph it.

I'll miss this course once its finished.
