Shhhhhhhhhh:ssst:, dont tell Heather, but we have her sunshine:cool1: Otherwise she may come and swipe it back!:tiptoe:

Storms are forecast again later in the day, but for now its blue skies and very hot already:cool1:

Ellis had "moving up" day yesterday - he went into year 4 for the day to meet his new teacher. So far so good, he got the teacher he wanted :thumbsup2 The teacher he currently has has been demoted to year 1 next year. I knew she couldnt handle the older kids:rolleyes: Hopefully she'll be better down there.

Do American kids do this? moving up day? Every school does it on the same day over here. The year 6 kids go to their new "big senior school" too.

I also had 29 reception kids yesterday move up to my year 1 class. They are so cute and teeny compared to my class now! I even got them using their table manners and cutting up their own meat yesterday;) - I'm starting as I mean to go on:rotfl2:... their usual dinner lady couldnt believe it when she saw them doing it for themselves.... more fool her for encouraging them not to try all year:confused3

Thought I would share a couple of Canada Day pics :goodvibes

Do you like her new haircut :rolleyes1 Her curls were getting all frizzy so I got them all chopped off

She looks so grown up Cass. Adorable.

Good Thursday morning to everyone

80 degrees is the normal high. We'll be there by Friday and through the weekend. :cool1:

We have that now Jeff. Boy is it muggy though.

I drug AFEG to DS' baseball game tonight. Much better game than last night's. They won 10-0. He went 2 for 3 (2 singles), and RBI, scored a run, and got person out at 3rd. This was a huge game for him - he hadn't gotten a hit until 2 games ago. He's connecting much better and is getting more excited about playing.

Congrats L

Well, time for bed for moi, gotta be up early tomorrow to leave for the airport at 5:30am!! :scared1::eek:

G'night everyone :wave2:

Safe trip Cass. I know I don;t have to remind you about pics.;):rotfl:

Walt is snoring away. He has to be exhausted. He has driven alot the last 7 weeks especially the last 3 days. 10 hour days for the last 3. It has been fun. We have seen and done alot of really neat things. I must say Walt has done a fantastic job in being my tour driver. It was never a dull moment. Off to Dallas tomorrow to stay at daughter's house for weekend. Elijah and Asiah are there waiting for us to get there. They have missed us terribly. I will stay for the weekend and fly home with them and Walt will make the last day drive to San Antonio on his own. It will be around a 7 hour drive maybe less. Hopefully he does not miss me too much. Talk to you all later.

Enjoy your weekend guys. You're road trip photos looked fantastic. Just a few more days and you'll be home. Take care and stay safe on the roads.

You know what they say about a small world....well on our Baltic cruise we met up with a really great couple and they were from San Antonio. I hope to keep in touch with them.

Hello from Oregon!
Sean and I are heading towards his folk's house and decided to stop half way. It's a good thing with the heat in CA the last couple of days my ankles have been swelling and the long car ride hasn't helped either. That and some sort of tummy virus ugh, you think maybe it's my body reacting to the fact I have to stay with the outlaws for the next week

So off to Washington tomorrow. Safe travels to everyone heading to the BOB Bash in Wisconsin. Hug everyone for me.

Safe journey guys. Have a great 4th and we'll talk soon. Lots of :hug::hug:

I'll share any time Karen. You could send some of your rain down here though, would help to clear the mugginess.

That's me done for now. Back later.
