We stayed at CSR last September. I heard that FD was limited too so I hope you get what you want!

I talked about it a lot in my TR but if you're planning to send any packages ahead of time, they charge you to pick them up....unlike the other resorts. Honestly, that made me mad.....considering I sent gifts, etc. and had no clue it would cost me $5 a package to claim them.

Free Dining is limited for everyone. We shall see what happens. Thank you!!

I knew they charged a fee. With us driving, it should not be an issue. Supposedly, it depends on what carrier you select. If you choose a FedEx type carrier they charge but if you do the USPS, there is no charge to claim packages. Not sure if that is true but that is what I read.

Im keeping my figures crossed for you too! I never stayed at CSR but it looks beautiful and your daughter will love that pool. Queen beds too...how can you go wrong!

We stayed at CSR once, and my kids LOVED the slide---must have gone down it a dozen times every day!

I think the rehabbed rooms are beautiful-love the queen sized beds.

we stayed there just last year in March...it was a last minute trip to be planned and that was the only place I could get two rooms...we were very pleasantly surprised. They were not done w/ refurb yet so we had the old style rooms...but it was nice. The pool was great!

Congrats on the resort change!! I've been getting resort-itis too, but I think I've worked it out by planning where we will stay for the next 2 trips!

Is the whole party moving over to CSR? It looks like a beautiful resort. We've never stayed there, but it is on our "someday" list! I hope everything works our on Monday when FD is released!

Thanks Michelle! We have already switched, it went through yesterday. That slide looks great! I may even go down it. So is Lilian's DGM or so she says.

Congrats on CSR! Aisling's cousins just stayed there last week. They loved the resort. Loved the pool. Found the staff to be amazing (both the kids got the flu and mousekeeping needed to come a LOT-even in the middle of the night- and they were RIGHT there) They weren't that thrilled with Pepper Market (the food was fine- they just thought the selection amount was really hyped on DIS) and their rooom was a 17 minute walk to the bus stops (yuck) but they would definitely stay there again.

FI and I stayed at CSR two years ago and really enjoyed it. It is a huge resort but I would think if you requested a room that was convenient to everything you would be just fine. At the time I didn't know you could do that and so we ended up pretty far away from everything. The pool there is great - such fun themeing, as is the whole resort. And we really liked Pepper Market too. I know it gets kind of mixed reviews here but we enjoyed everything we had from there. The refurbed rooms look amazing too! I so want to stay there again now just for the new rooms.

Here are some CSR pics from last year that I thought you might enjoy. The pool is awesome. While I didn't go in it, I spent time there with friends. Also, the laundry facility was near our room and quite well disguised. Didn't stick out like a sore thumb like they do in some resorts. We drove to the Pepper Market and Maya Grille. Maya by the way was fabulous. We're going back again this year. I have a couple of pics from there too.

I knew you weren't quite content with POR so I'm happy you found something that was right for you guys! The only downside is now I won't be able to give you a full report on your resort--but I'm sure many people can!!!

Thanks Courtney--I sure hope we end up with a bit closer room. Our TA put in the request to be close to transportation and ground floor if possible due to medical reasons. We also requested the Cabanas area.

Thank you for sharing your pictures! I have read mixed things about Pepper Market but we should really only eat there once or twice at most. Did you try the Cafe Rix too? Maya Grille looks good and will be a great option should we want to forgo one of our other ADRs.

There are pockets on the top flap, the inside outside (the part that you wear against your body ) and the inside has a divided pocket. The front inside pocket has space for pencil/pens and cell phone pocket. The big inside pocket has a zipper compartment in it too.

Good to know that Aisling's cousins enjoyed themselves at CSR. I have been reading mix reviews over Pepper Market but Cafe Rix seems to be a good choice. I am not even sure how much we will eat at the resort, it is just nice to have more options though. That's a long walk! Which part did they stay in?

You are at Disney right now so I don't know if you will see this or not. I felt forced into POR. I am sure it would be fine but I am happy to try a completely new resort. I hope you enjoy yourself at POR--I still want to hear about the resort!

We loved Maya. It wasn't on our ADR list last year but we were lazy one evening and didn't want to go to DTD so we thought we'd try Maya. We loved it. It was awesome.

The one thing that I did notice about the resort is the theme. Maybe because it is a convention hotel but you don't see a lot of "Disney" except for in the gift shop. Other than that, there isn't too much of the Disney feel. It is sort of like the Dolphin (which is one of our favorites) and the Swan, where there isn't a lot of "Disney stuff" if that makes sense.

We had a convention there when we were there. I think it was a nurse's convention. The place is so big, that even with the convention, it didn't seem crowded at all. There was no wait for the Pepper Market at all, nor at Rix.

I'm interested to see how you like it.

We will see how we like Pepper Market and Cafe Rix. The only time I really see using it is when we eat breakfast if we do not want to eat in our rooms or Wednesday, our resort/relaxation day.

I've only stayed at POFQ and All Star Sports and will also be staying at CSR this trip! I'm very excited to stay there as the rooms look amazing. Ahhhh resort-itis! I was struck by this very same disease last year. I must have switched resorts 3 or 4 times!

I don't know much about CSR, it kind of flies under the radar I think. I did put clients there last year because they wanted to stay in a mod and that was the only one available. They absolutely loved it! And it looks beautiful from the pictures I've seen. I think I may have to give that resort a try one of these days. I've never stayed at a mod.

Free Dining Update
I am happy to say that we were able to get free dining!! Our amazing TA was able to even get the other two rooms moved over to free dining too after I got dropped four times this morning when trying to be transferred to grand gatherings. I know they were experiencing some technical difficulties according to the free dining thread but I was not thrilled. Thank goodness for A!

So we are at CSR with Free dining, from September 11-18th : We are so excited and happy with how our trip is coming together!!

Next Sewing Project
I hope to begin my next sewing project this week/weekend. It probably will not happen until Friday since I need to finish one more school project. I am planning an Ariel dress with a shirred top. I hope it comes out really cute! :
