I'm wondering about the photopass too...how on earth did you get it for $50? I thought the $100 preorder was awesome, but $50!!!! That is fantastic! I'm going to do my preorder soon before Disney changes their minds again and gets rid of it.

The deal with the photopass is when they stopped the preorder. Disney would send out emails to guests not using TA or DVC members with the information on a discount. TAs had to request it for their guest. I asked A to get it for me as I knew right away that I wanted to have the cd. I had the code, so I entered it in when I preorder the cd yesterday and it worked!!

Thanks Amanda! The photopass deal is hot topic right now here. Disney stopped the preorder awhile back, instead they would email guests out about a month before hand to order it. TA and DVC members had to request it differently. I asked A about it and she got it for me. I used the discount in combination with the preorder and voila--I got the photopass cd for $49.95.

I was on the phone with Disney this morning too. Not for FD but because they screwed up my clients ME information.

On MNSSHP, if I were you I would let everyone buy their own ticket. That way you don't have to worry about getting money from everyone or someone changing their mind at the last minute and eating the ticket. The latter is what usually happens to me! So I make sure I either get the money first or let them do it themselves!

MNSSHP: we are still waiting to hear who is going. I am going to get a check from DBIL tonight for it, DGM, DGP, DBF & DBFH I am getting the money at the end of the month. My Dad will give us the money in June. Not sure if DMIL and DFIL are going to go yet. They will let us know on Thursday. Once I get the money, I will order. So I am protecting us and our pocketbook! Whew, I added up all those tickets and it is going to be approximately $625 for them all. It is a good thing it is worth it from all accounts. If not,

Congrats on Free Dining!!! Isn't it great!!?? I called and got it added to my reservation this morning too! Wasn't too bad for me...only 35 minutes on hold and then got through. Saved so much money though...I am so happy!

Thanks Karen! I am so glad you got FD too! Not too bad of a wait time this morning. I was on for a total of 2 hours before our TA saved me! We are extremely happy with the way things are working out for us!

That's not even the whole to do list--that is just this month's! Seriously, I like having as much written down as I can--with taking classes this summer, I need to be organized to get it all done. The dates are flexible; I have them down to keep me on track though.

The autograph books: I am still up in the air in exactly what I want to do. I need to get busy and make a decision. Do you know what you are going to do?

I held off and ordered the photopass cd because I was afraid it would expire or such. My TA said I should do it sooner rather than later since she did not know if the code would work for me much longer. I got the code when Disney stopped the preorder awhile back. TA-booked and DVC guests had to request the code, rather than getting the email from Disney like everyone else would get. I requested it and have had it for a few months now. When they re-released the preorder, I thought that would be the way I would have to do it. But A told me to try both together when I ordered it which is how I got the $50. I am still nervous about it not working for some reason, but it says blatantly on there you can add the photopass number at a later point.

That's a great deal for photopass. I've never bothered, since you can buy pictures individually online if you like just one or two, and we always get pictures that look just fine from our own cameras. But that is an amazing price!

I love the to-do list, I should get started on one. It's starting to get closer!

It is a great deal! I figured we would try the photopass cd this trip and see if we liked it. When I found out I could get an even better deal, I jumped at it.

Thank--I love to do lists too. I wrote out a massive one of anything and everything I could think of back last fall. Now, I edit, add and cross off it as needed.

MNSHP party tickets are tricky. I think it depends on the group but it would probably be better to let everyone get their own tickets. Just give them all the info, order your tickets and be done with it.

AMAZING photopass deal...

YAY that everything has worked out for you and the rooms plus free dining very cool! (if your TA hasn't already request rooms on the Casitas (near food court) or in the Cabanas that way you are close to the food court and not to far from the pool...if they put you anyway else it will be a haul to walk over to the the El Centro area...plus for buses...El Centro is the last pick-up around the resort...on your way quick!)

Thanks Julie! It is a great deal that I lucked into. We requested the Cabanas area. We are hoping we end up with a good room! I have a lot of research to do regarding the resort so thank you for the information!

I am collecting the money for MNSSHP upfront, than paying for the tickets. It is a huge bill otherwise! That is the way it is working out to be, but I should have all but one ticket's worth of money by the end of the month. June my Dad comes up so I will get his money then.

Thanks Lindsay! I have a feeling that is the only way we will get any family shoots and definitely big group shots so that is why I went ahead and order the PP. I plan to take advantage of it as much as we can (without driving everyone insane of course ).

Prepay is what is going to happen for the MNSSHP. I am going to collect the bulk of the money this month and order tickets next month. It is going to be a huge bill!

It is great--I wish others could get the deal now still. I knew I wanted to take advantage of it--I have seen pictures on your PTR and other TRs of the pictures. I really like the editing and the borders you can add. I know it takes time to do it but I think it would be worth it! I think prepaying for it is going to make me more inclined to use it too as I won't want to waste the money we already spent on it.

Which color album should I use for Lilian’s photographs and autographs?

Here is what I am thinking I am going to do:

The Album: I know I want to put pictures (either photopass or the ones we take) with the autographs when we get home. I am eyeing the above albums because of this. I think I will take cards for the characters to sign, scan them in when I get home (so I can print them out to the size I need and to preserve them). The cards will be the autograph book essentially with the above being the final resting place for them. Lilian loves looking through my scrapbooks so I figure this would be hers—it would “live” in her room so she can look through whenever she wants--which is why I want an album with page protectors.

The Cards: I still not a 100% sure exactly what I am going to do with these. Two options pop into my head: 1) using a photo brag book that I would create a cover for; I would have blank cards inside. We would pull out a new one for each character to sign and put it back in the photo album for protection and 2) the cards would be held together by three jump rings. It would have a front cover decorated and a back cover for stability.
With the first option, I would have to get a mini clipboard to take so they could have a stable surface to sign on and both options would go down into a ziplock bag to keep them protected from inclement weather.

Thoughts? Suggestions? Which album color do you like best?

Okay...I have to admit I've not read ALL of this...I'm too far behind so I did do skimming.

First, your family is beautiful and your daughter is precious (by the way, I like the raspberrry for Lilian's album). I read that Lilian loves Tigger and Pooh. Be sure when you are at Epcot to go into the toy store in the United Kingdom (near the back of the store) and Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore are there for photos and signing autographs. Also, have you made a reservation for a meal with Pooh, etc.? If not, you might want to consider it.

I did. They had my clients set up for ME but didn't have their flight information and I know I gave it to them. So the documents say 'no flight information provided' And these clients ask a million and one questions so it'll be fun explaining that to them!

MNSSHP is totally worth it! I know you'll love it! Glad you're getting all the $$ before you order them. That's a big order!!

I like the raspberry color. I like the idea of putting pictures in with the autographs. It'll be great if you can get a few of her and the characters as she's getting their autograph. I wonder where my old autograph book is. I know I had one when my parents took me to Disney for the first time. I wish I had kept better track of these things!

Both albums are cute- I guess it comes down to which one Lilian would like more. I know my dd would like the rasberry but some of her friends don't like anything pink so it's really about personal preference.

We're doing the brag book for our autograph cards. I attached a butterfly clip to it to hold the picture with and it is sturdy enough on it's own (it comes with cardboard backing in the front and back covers) that I don't need a clipboard. It was extremely easy and I like that the pages are protected. :
