Hi Cathy. Kathy here. Speaking of Thanksgiving Dinner, do ya'll have the law that says if you kill it with your car you can eat it? No kidding, here in Tennessee if you kill it with your car it is road kill and dinner! People eat turkeys, chicken, squirrel, deer, and various and asundrey (sp) other things. Yuk! My dad was from Kentucky and he told me that he was raised on opossum (greasy)and ground hogs (greasy) as well as deer and wild turkeys.

The law was passed because the deer and other "edible" wild life was going to waste on the roadways and now they can be eaten or donated to homeless shelters.
Yeah, the coyotes are getting to be a problem in West Nashville. It seems the people there are complaining about their small dogs, cats disappearing due to them. It seems that developers have built all those new fancy homes in the coyotes back yard.
Just got off of 5 12 hour shifts at work in a row, have just last night off and have to work the next two nights too. My back is killing me. Last Wednesday night we had 10 sick babies in the Nursery and by Sunday Night had whittled them down to 8. One of the babies has a sugar problem. She keeps dropping her glucose level into the 20's and below! I have had to be the Charge nurse and take a full load of patients too. I have a killer of a back ache.

Mike is kindly doctoring me with his Mobic. On the plus side, I am off after this Wednesday until Sunday night. (I think) Will get some major cruise clothes together.
Elaine, hope the little one gets better, and you stay well too. I agree with everyone, there is nothing worse than a sick caregiver.
Take care everyone, Kathy
