My 21-year-old daughter and friend just realized that Wi-Fi is not included with thier cruise fare. An absolute travesty I tell you. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Can anyone give me a quick rundown on how much this will cost them on the cruise? (a 4 or 5-night cruise) Could they split a Wi-Fi package? Tips? Advice? Thanks!

I don't have a copy of my itemized bill. I know that I decided to only buy one day, which is 24 hours. My mobile data worked while docked and when at ports. I know I paid for one device only. If my husband wanted to use it, he would have needed to use my device. There are other options where you pay for multiple devices and for length of cruise. I just didn't want to pay for it.

Wifi service is $26 a day if they aren’t streaming and $42 if they want to stream. Prices are PER DEVICE… not per stateroom. You will be able to specify the number of devices you need connected upon purchase. Discounts do apply if you buy service all cruise long.

Ya, they won't be streaming. I would think. 🤔

My young adult sons did the $26 per day on the Treasure in October. Worked fine for them - no streaming.

It’s only for one connected device but it’s not per device. It can be used on multiple devices by logging in with the login credentials but if you pay for only one device that’s all that can be connected at one time. You can however share it very easily between everyone in the stateroom by sharing the login. It will actually allow you to disconnect someone else’s device who is using it if you want to connect on yours. We do this every cruise and buy one device connection. We wait til the second day as we really don’t need it the first day as we can check email and make whatever calls needed while still in port and it’s nice to fully disconnect the first night. It gets cheaper each day for the rest of the cruise package. We use iMessage or the DCL app to text each other onboard the ship if we need to immediately use the internet when someone else is connected so make sure we aren’t cutting them off from something important. It’s really easy to share the connection.
