09/28/2002 Cruise

William ...the count for kids is 40 +? .I do not know if Tcjp4me, Cathmandu or TimonTracy have any kids in their party).

I know Renee has 2 but do not know the ages, I know JellyMoon has 4 ages 7,4,2, and 1. I also know Carolrie has 2 DD ages 1 and 4.

So you can go with a count of 40 for now! (and 64 adults)

That puts us over the 100 person mark!!!!!!!

Nope, only 3 in our party -- a couple of big kids and an "old lady" (so says my mother). We still haven't received our docs :( We live in England (I'm American, my DH is English) so maybe international delivery is slow. My mom is here visiting from the States at the moment and I was hoping the docs would arrive before she goes back so she could see them and get excited too.

Have our fingers crossed for the delivery of your documents Cathmandu. You will feel right at home in Grand Caymen, not only is it a British Crown Colony but they even drive on the left hand side of the road:rolleyes:

Looking forward to meeting everyone and having a grand time. Mike

Thanks for the count. William

Coyotes have been spotted in the western area of Nashville. Here is a linkcoyotes Who would have thunk :p

Mike

Am I the only one that hasn't received their doc's. yet? I used the TA from h***, they probably are holding them hostage.

I'm having an Endocoscopy next week, doc said I should have it before I leave. Wish me luck.

I still haven't decided on either T shirts or pillow cases for the iron ons. Where on the kids T shirts is everyone putting the logo?

See you all soon. Hopefully with a better tummy so I can fulfill my plan of eating my weight in food.

Vonda

Nancy ~ Thanks for "missing" me. Most of my days are 12+ hrs and sometimes I am just not in the right frame of mind to post...
REALLY getting to need this vacation and see "My Honey". Need to go to Fairbanks tommorrow - just for the day! 354 Miles each way ... For about a two hour session!!! Drives me nuts ... usually have to do it a couple of times a month ... Quick jet ride BUT ....

Mike ~ Coyotes in Nashville is rare? Would have thought it was fairly commonplace. Lotsa woods surrounding Big N - yes?

William - You be helping your Mom with your little brother? Be really careful not to get sick ~~~ time to leave is getting close!!!

Elaine - Hope little one is feeling better

Tired ~~~ See ya tommorrow ~ maybe

Vonda - I'm sending a bag of Pixie Dust for you to take with you next week. Just tell him it's a religious thing ... you are a devote MICKYHOLIC! Take Care.

Mike ... Coyotes? Aren't they german shepherd looking with really fluffy tails! We have them and Bobcats (really big kittties with an attitude and no tail) too. Today I almost had Thanksgiving Dinner on my hood ... darn turkeys were out for a stroll, again.

What's up with our PA teams ... can't seem to win for trying these last few days. Hopefully PSU will break that curse this Saturday night!

Nice daydream ... but now work is calling!

Hi Cathy. Kathy here. Speaking of Thanksgiving Dinner, do ya'll have the law that says if you kill it with your car you can eat it? No kidding, here in Tennessee if you kill it with your car it is road kill and dinner! People eat turkeys, chicken, squirrel, deer, and various and asundrey (sp) other things. Yuk! My dad was from Kentucky and he told me that he was raised on opossum (greasy)and ground hogs (greasy) as well as deer and wild turkeys.:p The law was passed because the deer and other "edible" wild life was going to waste on the roadways and now they can be eaten or donated to homeless shelters.

Yeah, the coyotes are getting to be a problem in West Nashville. It seems the people there are complaining about their small dogs, cats disappearing due to them. It seems that developers have built all those new fancy homes in the coyotes back yard.

Just got off of 5 12 hour shifts at work in a row, have just last night off and have to work the next two nights too. My back is killing me. Last Wednesday night we had 10 sick babies in the Nursery and by Sunday Night had whittled them down to 8. One of the babies has a sugar problem. She keeps dropping her glucose level into the 20's and below! I have had to be the Charge nurse and take a full load of patients too. I have a killer of a back ache. :( Mike is kindly doctoring me with his Mobic. On the plus side, I am off after this Wednesday until Sunday night. (I think) Will get some major cruise clothes together. :p

Elaine, hope the little one gets better, and you stay well too. I agree with everyone, there is nothing worse than a sick caregiver. :(

Take care everyone, Kathy

Kathy ... in PA if you wack it with your car (Turkey, Deer, Etc ) you can call the Game Commission and they will issue you a certificate so that you can have the critter. We have some good old boys up here that will take the meat gladly ... at least then it dosen't go to waste and smell up the roadways.

Wow all of a sudden the phone won't stop ... gotta go

WOW! Almost to the "NEXT 50" list on this page

Bette...I feel better already!LOL!

The packing has begun! I have been putting things in my closet for a few months now, so I cleaned out my closet and have begun stacking stuff in the spare room. I do not want to put it into suitcases yet because then I forget what I still need to pack. All the new clothes, formal clothes, and "cruise items" (shoe holder, 2-way radios, DIS t-shirts, lanyards ect) are ready to go!

Well gang the base tan is in place and I loaded up on Jersey produce to bring home, the best around. I am so depressed to hear of the poor young child's passing, what a waste to lose someone so young, it really aches in my heart to hear about so young a person dying. PAPA Mike we in the suburbs of Philadelphia have had coyotes for a couple of years now. Most people think they are German Shepards. I think they are open season all year in Pa. they drive the dear out. In Bucks county, near me, they are all over the place and we are only 17 miles from Philly. Dennis: with all that fish and all the outdoor activities you have to be in great shape and are you looking for company? I would like to bring my camera's up and do a little shooting and fishing for salmon. Use to be pretty good with a bow but I really like to take pictures now. Gang I wish you all peace and blessing's tomorrow and hope for a quiet day around the world. We can blow their butt's up thursday, enough said about that I am trying to be as PC as I can. God bless you guys and God Bless the USA.:earsgirl: :earsboy:

Hi gang,

Its been a few days since I been on. It has been busy, busy, busy. We are into the fall horse sales and a lot of high rollers fly in for them.

I saw all the messages about the animals so I thought I would beep in. Here in "Kentuck" there is a dish (soup/stew) called Burgoo. They just open the pot lid and throw everything in, vegatables and different meats ( whatever they find on the highway). I don't care to much for it. It's a little "wild" for my taste.

Can't believe it is just a little over two weeks till we fly to Florida.
Can't wait!!!!! :bounce: :bounce:

See you real soon:tongue:

We just want to say we hope you all have someone you love to be with tomorrow. We are thankful for our family and friends.
Need a little more pixie dust this way. My fathers pacemaker isn't working too well.(at all) hes going in the hospital for open heart surgery on Friday.:(

Coyotes are rampant where we live also. We live in the foothills of Boise. When we moved in a year ago last June we "lost" two of our "family" members to the coyotes. Marshmallow was a sixteen year old, 20 lb (yes 20!) cat who adored Bill. Denzie was a 16 lb orange kitty that my daughter Sarah had had since she was 3. Needless to say we were heartbroken. We keep hoping they will walk back in. We heard the coyotes last night. When they start yipping it is a little haunting. Bye elaine

from william: this song if for you all because you are all
SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPIALIDOCIOUS! (that was my winning question on "Who Wants to be a Mouseketeer) William

Elaine, I hope William was incorrect and it is NOT "open heart" surgery on Friday???Maybe just pacemaker surgery???I don't really mean "just" but replacing a pacemaker is WAY different from the whole rib-speading open heart thing.

William you choice of music is very appropriate. Tomorrow will be a very sad day for everyone. I plan on crying a lot.:(

One of my bosses was driving back to Charleston from Atlanta in a very small car (a BMW sports car) when a large deer ran out in front of him on the Interstate. He struck and killed it as well as pretty much wrecking the car! A truck pulled over and 2 men stopped to ask if my boss and his wife were ok (they were) and then asked if they could take the deer! They then loaded up the still warm deer and drove off. After they left a police car came and my poor boss had to explain why there was blood all over his car, and no deer! Thankfully, the trooper had seen the same thing happen many times and did not place anyone under arrest.
Lesson learned: Wait until the police arrive before you give away the road kill!

Lord Mary, I am ROTFLMBO! I guess that is a good thing to do, wait to show the evidence before letting someone drive off with it.

May you all have a safe and well day tomorrow. I was telling Mike how much I wish all my family could be together tomorrow.*Sigh*

God Bless America

Take care, Kathy

Mary, Unfortunately it is open heart surgery. His pacemaker just isn't working right. He has had heart problems in the past. I don't know much about that kind of surgery. Hoping all will be alright. As I have said before. I have never lived more than an hour away from my parents. I am very close to them as are my children.
I had a "menu" from a Roadkill cafe once. If I find it, I will post it, It was quite funny. Bless you all
Elaine
