Good news---TA called today and said she received my final payment and shore excursion booklet is in the mail to me

Bad news--- Got college bill for DS #1 in the mail today. Not nearly as much fun as receiving mail from Disney. Plus I still didn't get the college bill for DS #2, so have that to look forward to.

Disney sent me a postcard today that the recent survery I filled out in the computer regarding my recent stay at WDW in June had a computer malfunction. So could I please resubmit the data. Do you think it will get me any special rewards? Like a postcard with a great rate since I had to do it twice.

Mike---We are staying Sat and Sun @ WDW after the cruise also. Haven't made any reservations yet, waiting for the new codes to come out. Need to get more use out of my AP.

Mary we can meet and greet at the pool provided the mosquitoes aren't too bad. Still recovering from our cellulitis bout. We will be getting there around or a little after dinner on friday the 27th. Mike

Ashlee--Riker appreciates your good wishes and sends along a special WOOF to you.

Nancy--We're going to stick with main dining. Hopefully, we'll each find some nice dinner companions and just have to hang out together at some other times.

Ed & I would love to join the DIS bunch at the Palo brunch. I'm not clear how we're going to try to all get together. Maybe the first one of us can attempt to book for us all, or at least let them know how many of us will be in line to book the brunch. Our current plan is to board early, but you never know what will come up. Maybe if we each have a list of all who want to come with stateroom numbers? (We are in 2570, by the way)

I checked our reservation on line--sure was nice to see the balance due of $0.

GoofyNut ~ I just new that the "artsy-fartsy" comment would generate some "dynamics". Could not resist the opportunity. Like casting the right fly in a stream of salmon. Just have to have the right color & pattern. Next thing you know, FISH-ON!!!
Actually, Chrystina is very talented and I am VERY proud of her.

Papa - Radisson @ 8:00pm should work for us. Will be pretty flexible once we get there. My new boss has noticed my leave schedule for Sep-Oct (3wks-one one on either side or the cruise) and wants to know if it is absolutely necessary for me to take leave at that time. Not hard to figure out what he is thinking about. Of course, I always have a strong leave schedule to warmer climates when the temperatures start dropping and the snow is flying. Wait til he sees I am gone for a month at XMAS!
Every year same problem - oh my trials & tribulations!

Check out your local Disney Store today. Pins are buy one, get one free. Not sure how long the sale will last, but it would be a good chance to pick up some pins at a really good price.

Tiiiigergirl, Just saw that you are in Salt Lake. We are on a delta flight from Boise to Orlando. Leave here at 8 and I think we leave Orlando around 10. Are you going on Friday also? Mayabe we will see you on the plane? Elaine

8 PM at the pool sounds great. We are leaving Panama City at noon, and hope to get to the Radisson around 8 EST. So we may have to check-in and go right to the pool, before going to the room. That's OK with me, we're not really doing any "unpacking" but we may be a little rumpeled from the drive.
These are my thought for Palo's: At the moment the count is 13 couples. So we need seating for 26. If we can get 5 people to say they will get on the Res line at Palos and each reserve a table, and request them together, it could work. I know my sis and I will be on line together, so that means I need 3 additional people to help us. Since almost everyone staying at the Radisson is planning on attending the Brunch, I figure we can plan our "attack" on Friday night. Since I am a first time cruiser, there maybe a fatal flaw in this plan. Anyone with any other ideas, please let me know.

Ave , Bruch plan sounds good. Come to the pool as is! We will probably be getting there around 8pm also. I plan to have the kids have their bathing suits on under their clothes!
IF we deside to keep the kids out of school on Friday, will will be getting to the Radisson about 3pm. I'll know more once school starts and I have a school calander.

Elaine...it would be so cool if youand Bill and Shelly and Waren were on the same flight!Have fun at the "coast".

Hi Jul...welcome to the 9/28/02 cruise thread! I hope you and your
family can join us at the DIS sail-a -way party! It looks like we have between 65-70(20 Dis'ers and their families) so far!
Since this is a first time cruise for you please ask if you have any questions. Several of us have been before, so we "know the ropes", although, this is the first Western Car. on DCL for all of us.

While we have done one cruise before, we didn't do any meals at Palo. This time though, we want to. We will only have one child. I am hoping he will make some friends and can hang out with them while we are at Palos. I will be happy to make a reservation for the brunch.

Am so upset Our house was tp"d last night. Come to find out it is a boy and his friends in our neighborhood. He likes my daughter, they are in same class at school. Anyway, when I found out who it was, I called the mom and can you believe it?, she laughed and said she had told them they could tp houses but she didn't know who they were going to do. Is it just me, or does this seem asinine to anyone else? Anyway, she came up and brought the "darling" boy and they cleaned the mess up.
Sorry, this has no place here and isn't even anything to do with a disney cruise, but I was just baffled by her attitude.

Now onto happy thoughts. The CRUISE!!

Elaine - sometimes this is the place to let off "steam" - we don't have to ponder very long as to why children of today have so little respect for not only their family, but friends or strangers. Anyhow sorry that you had to experience such an act, but worse could have happened - always a reason for every season - will make you look more forward to your vacation. Have an awesome time with all of the excitement being built up.
Now to this thread going on the Western - Norm and I have changed our plans and we will be in Key West the weekend of September 28th so we will meet up with you all in Key West - If there is anything you want to know, anything you would like to do in KW - we will be there to help -
Also - to all of those that will be spending the night before at the Radisson - I won't be there for I will be on my way to "home", but I will make sure that there is honest to goodness from the crust to the topping REAL KEY LIME PIE waiting for you - I will be sending 4 pies up to the hotel - that should prepare each of you for your trip.
Meanwhile if you need coupons, pamplets etc before your trip - you can send me a self address envelope with stamps (about $3,00 worth) and will get it to you to go over.

eshonnon, sorry about the TP. I agree that the mother showed a lack of responsibility for supplying and or approving of this activity. While pretty much harmless, it is still vandelism. As a young teen, I have to addmit to "egging" a few houses. But would Never imagine asking my mother to buy the eggs. And while I was never caught, if I had been my parents would have punished me. Not just laughed it off. Hope your day gets better.

Almost forgot, Called Perfect Gift today to order some stuff. Shirley wants to change some previous plans and meet us in KW. Would that be great or what? Very nice lady. She says she bakes all the keylime pies herself.
