Just got home, will be working 13 hours tonight due to another nurse wanting to leave early to go to some play. Oh well, another hour is another hour. Looks good on the old check.

Dan, Scott, did you get your thankyou card from Stacey? She asked me about it the other day and if you two felt ok with being "honorary uncles"? Hope so. Don't know two finer!

bonitad, are you in the medical profession? Just asking...

Mike has breakfast ready, yum. I am a little hungary this morning and the orange juice looks so good. Take care everyone, it is not as long as it used to be. Kathy

I booked our rental car and the Raddison yesterday, all is paid for and am now waiting for the documents to arrive. Are you all meeting at the Raddison at a certain time?

My DS has all his pins in order and is hoping someone else will like trading/looking/buying like he does. The emphasis is on buying because he hardly ever gets rid of any! LOL

Hey I work out of town for one day and get back to 3 new pages and 2 new familis ... What's up with that (inside joke!)

Welcome to Nancy and Bonitad ..... you are gonna have a lot of laughs with this group. Seems like any of the kids in this group will have a lot of sets of eyes around the ship looking out for them!

I had a feeling that as we got closer to the cruise that our "family" would be growing.

Ave ... Bummer about losing the workmate/friend. Know how you feel cause that had happened to me a few times.

Mike-Kathy ... Stacy sound like a reallllllly good artist. You better have her sign some of her work now so you'll have it when she is famous Art used to scuba so snorkeling is no problem (except there is more of him to float around than there used to be )

It has been so dry here that my lawn is just dried up and blowing away. We had a lot of rain in June but haven't had any since. We are even under water emergency status.

BethE - Art & I are celebrating our actual 30th Wedding Anniv on 9-30.

Key West so far seems like just the Conch trolley to scope out the area.

Looks like I'll be cranking out more "packages" and name tags.

Reallllllllllllllllly starting to get anxious about going.

eshannon(Elaine)..my 2 children are into pin collecting/trading also. I found some GREAT pins in the Disney Store in NY. One has Mickey as a Fireman and says FDNY, the 2nd has Mickey as a Policeman and says NYPD, and the 3rd has Minnie as the Statue of Liberty and says New York. I bought each of my kids one of each but made them PROMISE NOT TO TRADE THEM!
Last year I picked up about 20 (10 each) pins at Hilton Head Resort out of the "bargin bin" @ 2.00 each. I got many of the same pins since I knew they would be traded. We came home with each child having 10 different pins...plus a few more we bought on board. I am going to try to stop at the Disney Store on I-95 on the way to Florida and see if I can pick up a bunch before the Sept cruise.

Anybody want to organise the Radisson DIS meet? We will not get there until dinner time or later.

I have gotten information from PaDisneyFan and Bonitad (thanks ya'll) I will be sending out the updates list this weekend.
So far 39 Adults, 26 children....65 total!

If anyone would like to join other Dis'ers for dinning, it might be best to do so prior to cruisetime. You can request your reservations be "linked". In the case of some of the smaller groups, you might wish to do this since you will probably get seated with other cruisers anyway....might as well be someone you "know"!

Rellingtwin (sorry can't remember your name) William pleased to know about your kids and pins. We did the same thing. Stayed at Shades of Green last year and the little store there had lots of pins for a couple of bucks. Then I happened to go into our dollar store and there on the counter was a rounder with lots of winnie the pooh and friends pins. ONly a dollar!! We stocked up on them too. Have traded most of them away. I have told my husband and son they CANNOT go crazy buying pins on the ship. On our last cruise I was shocked when we got our final bill. It was in excess of $2000 and I hadn't even bought much! Will keep closer tabs this time!

We got our excursion stuff today also. How fun!

Beth, chuckee's wasn't too bad. My neighbor and I got there at 10 when it opened and left at noon. MIssed all the crowds and I have now done my requisite trip to chucks for the summer.

WE will be arriving at the Raddisson around 5 or 6 . We leave Boise at 8 am and hopefully everything will be on time.

It is so hazy here from all the surrounding fires. At least it is keeping the sun at bay. Can't wait to see the ocean.

Thanks to Rellingtwin and Goofynut for all the information you have sent me. Looking forward to getting the complete list and package. This thread grow by leaps and bounds, I will never get all those pages read between page 3 and 73.

My DH an I would be interested in linking up with someone for dinner. It is just the 2 of us so we would probably have that LAP rotation for second seating. If anyone in a small group interested just let me know.

You have 1st and I have 2nd, but we can switch around. However, I just checked cruise locators web site and there is a waiting list for 1st seating. Would you be ok with doing 2nd if you had to? My only concern with that 1st is we will probably miss the one night because of doing the Tulum ruins which is a long excursion. If you want to call and check that would be ok what ever works.

Oops, Nancy--what a dunderhead I am tonight! I just re-read your post and see that you have second seating. We'll just have to get together some other times.

We have had both first and second seating, but last cruise we had a table of 10 at the second seating--some of the guests were late every night, so our dinners seemed to take forever! We decided to try early seating again this cruise.

Wanted to let the new cruisers know about the Palo's Brunch. It is going to be on Monday Sept. 30th, 10 AM at Palo's. A bunch of us cruisers will be booking a few large tables, so that we may meet and greet each other. We have outgrown the "Private Room" and so have oppted to "take over the dinning room" that day/time. Anyone who is interested in joining us, let me know. So far we've got 22 people.
