Welcome Jul and family. Mary this bunch is growing by leaps and bounds. Thank you in advance Shirley. Ave we will get into the Palo's line with you. If my memory serves me correctly you will need all of the cabin numbers when you book the brunch. Have to run as I have supper to fix as we say in TN. Pork chops,rice with gravy, applesauce and english peas are on the menu tonight. Saw the Magic on the web cam this am and will try to watch it sail on two palms at 5:30 edt this afternoon if I don't forget. Mike

Elaine--sorry about the mess at your house. We were targets twice during my boys' high school years (TP and eggs on the car--yuck and double yuck). About a hundred years ago, I still remember leaving my house to take the SAT's and finding that the house had been egged. I still maintain that my scores would have been higher if I wasn't so upset. Never did find out who was responsible for any of the incidents.

Jul--welcome to another Pennsylvanian!

You guys sound like you'll be having a great time at the Rad. Especially the key lime pie. It's almost (but not quite) enough to change my plans from staying at WDW. I like the fireworks too much to leave until Saturday a.m., though.

My most favorite cruise food is the chocolate croissants at breakfast. Ed always says that I'd take the pasty chef home with us if I could figure out how to do it and get away with it.

I will also be ordering from the Perfect Gift. Last year I got DH the "Main Man" basket with a 6 pack of LaBatt Blue (his fav. beer) and the kids LOVED theirs, with cool sunglasses,underwater cameras,a few snackes, and soft drinks. A much better value then the DCL gift baskets PLUS...A PLEASURE to do bussiness with such a wonderful person! So cool she will meet us in Key West!

The Radisson is going to be SO MUCH FUN! Can't wait!!!!!!!

I cranked out some "packages this AM and they're drying out for the mail.

Raddison pool 8is or so sounds great to me ... we'll also be among the wrinked group from 2 days of driving. What the heck, we'll be among friends getting re-acquainted or acquainted.

Still waiting to see if they have any discounts for on-site rooms for a few days after the cruise ... if not we will have to stay off-site.

Gotta find something for supper.....

Karen (Rikersmom)--- I have been able to hook up with George and Barg (The Sorcerer1) fellow PA cruises for dinner. Hope you find someone from the main dining group. I'm sure we will catch up with each other during the trip.

Papa (Mike)-- We will be at the Radisson on Friday night but not until around 11pm. Our flight get to MCO @ 9:30pm, till we get rental car and drive over. Save a slice of Key Lime Pie for us. Will check once we get in if anyone is still up and about. So hard to sleep good the night before the cruise.

I had to check back a number of pages to get the infomation for brunch at Palo's. At some point I will have read all these pages just from trying to get all the information sorted out. DH and I would be interested in doing it. I would also be glad to stand in line to get reservations. It's the least I can do for all of you. On my June cruise they started taking reservations @ 12:45 as I was one of the first in line.

Jul--- Glad to see you joined the group.

Elaine-- Sorry to hear about the TP at your house. In 8th grade my son got into big time trouble doing the TP and egg thing on a Halloween night. He was grounded for a month, plus was at teachers house so got into trouble with the school. He learned a lesson from that. In our school for homecoming, the cheerleaders do TP the senior football players house. However, the cheerleader adviser calls and ask if it is ok. So at least you know it is coming and they don't make a big mess. Everyone in the neighborhood knows who all the senior football players are.

Goofynut-- Someone emailed me that codes are to be out on Monday. I'm waiting for them also.

Everyone enjoy the rest of the weekend. I'm off to Hersheypark Sunday for DH company picnic. Suppose to be hot again. May have to try the new water soaker roller coaster.

Anyone who has ever been to Alaska may be interested to know that the fireweed is in FULL bloom. Six weeks to first snow when it blossoms at the top. Chugach mountains are starting to get grey at the top and sunrise gets later and sunset gets earlier every day ~ Looks like there will be snow by early September.

Since I have lost all sense of the thread conversations going on, I have just been "popping in" reading them and giving a situational report from the Far North. Keeps me from getting more lost and too far behind! Helps to add to the posting count tooooooooo

I have a question - Does Disney have a polar bear character?

Alaska, to the best of my knowledge, there is no polar bear character. I'll check with our Disney Store trivia expert to be sure. I think that Donald may have had some adventures with a polar bear in a cartoon or two, but none of them had names that I know of.

Nancy, glad to hear that you found dinner companions. Which colleges are your sons attending?

Mike, I think we should all have a list of brunchers with stateroom numbers. That way we can all try to get in line to sign up and see if they'll take the reservations for us all. How's that sound?

Since Ed is STILL in England--it's week 3 now--I've been spending a lot of time at my computer. Riker is pining for his "dad" and has decided to stage a hunger strike. This wouldn't be so bad, but it sure messes up his insulin dosage. I'm thinking of calling in that pet psychic everyone is talking about!

Good morning from hot humid sunny Pennsylvania hope we get a break soon. If anbody has been to the Kennedy Space Center and can give me some information I would appreciate it. We are staying at the Radison after the cruise till Sunday afternoon and are planning to visit the KSC. are there things we should see and do and things to avoid(time wasters). The guided tour sounds good for a starter. Any information would be greatly appreciated. A welcome to Jul Disney must do a lot advertizing in Pa so may of us going! has any body looked up the sealion swim we did Discovery Cove during 2000 and it ranks as one of our top ten "life" moments what a thrill. We won't be getting in early the day of our cruise, but if you need someone to stand in line, I won't mind!

George...Ave(TwinAve) and our families are also planning to stay at the Radisson on Sat after the cruise. There WAS a shuttle launch on Sun Oct 6, but it looks like it might be cancelled. IF it is cancelled, we were thinking of staying anyway, and going to the space center. Right now we will just wait and see what happens.
