Hi Everyone!

Just woundering are we talking about borrowing points for the month or having enough each year? I would say for each year we could do 2 weeks.

There is a big difference! With banking and borrowing.. We could do a much longer vacation in that way, a month in a 1 bedroom at OKW..that would be amazing

Morning I think we started talking about how fun it would be to stay say a month at dvc.

It will probably be tougher on me than my DW. She has traveled on business and was gone about 50% of the time. She has changed jobs, but she is used to be away from them. I still look at them as daddys little girls.

Good Afternoon everyone!

I see everyone was chatty this morning! I had to finish painting the trim in DS room and then we picked up the carpet because we are expecting rain late. Can't wait to get this done!! Then I have to go back to his old room and repaint that and make it into middle DS/guest room. He will be home for a while in the winter when his golf course closes, so it will be nice for him to have a place to come home to - not to mention my total delight in having him around!! But that room can wait until we get back from vacation!!

Come to think of it, it IS really shaping up to look nice and fresh! One more detail of a thin stripe of dark red on the edge of the gray on the trim, and I should be ready to move the furniture back in as soon as DH puts the carpet down tonight.

It's funny 'cause I was just looking at that. With our points, we might be able to manage a month at OKW in a studio in the least expensive season. Anything else, no way (oh, except for Hilton Head, but who wants to be at the beach in January, unless you live in the southern hemisphere?).

Oops, just checked again. We could only manage 3 weeks, not a month. Oh, well.

Don't do what I did...I got addonitis...I have 5 contracts, 700 points...and I know when I get on that ship I am going to want MORE...but I have to tell myself NO...you have enough now...but if I come into some money, you never know...

Oh, yea, that hurricane is headed that way and going to bring a lot of rain with it. It was raining so hard this am that we had to wait until it slowed down some to get to the car with our umbrellas...it was like someone had a fire hose on us!

Yup, that rain should be heading my way as we speak!! I hope it gets it all done today and tonight - I'd rather not have a rainy Saturday. I need it to be nice at least in the morning - I'm taking on some more lifeguard training - the one where I can train and certify people to be lifeguards - and I reallt wanted to get it done and over with tomorrow.
