Well, this dang thing called work is calling me. So I have to sign off for now. Probably won't be back on till Saturday Morning and then I will be so far behind it will take a while to catch up. ;)

Have a great day!
:flower3:

Good morning everyone - happy Friday! You all have become so chatty I can hardly keep up. :lmao: Happens with every cruise as the excitement builds.

Have a great day everyone! This time in two weeks we'll be in southern GA heading to WDW! Hopefully we'll have already found a Chick-fil-a and had our chick'n minis for breakfast.

Safe travels, Mary.

1 week from today, Mary and I will be heading down to WDW. We booked the 9/5 western Magic kind of last minute:cool1:. It will be our first category 7.After 1 night at a Ft Wilderness cabin, we head to the port. Then it's off the Magic on 9/12, back to BCV for 1 night (and clothes washing) before heading back to the port to join you all on the Wonder :yay:

Morning everyone it is finally friday and at least I don;t have to drive 18 hours this coming weekend.

Good Morning Mark,

I am glad as well!! I plan on heading out to the campground this weekend, but they are saying heavy rain for Saturday. Enjoy your weekend.

Are you a tent camper or mobile home camper. Hope the rain stays away for you. Rained most of the last 3 days here.

We are definitely not tent campers, we do have a travel trailer that is set up as a seasonal, so we don't have to tow it around. If it does rain we have plenty of room inside, we will make it a family "board game" day.

Ok one of my dreams is to travel the country in a motor home when I retire and stay as long as I want and then go to the next place. Of course I will always stay at one of the dvc properties and leave the motor home behind

That is something we would like to do as well. If we could, we would stay at DVC properties as well. Who knows, maybe I will have enough points by then..:rotfl2:

How long would you stay at a dvc property if you could.

We have enjoyed all DVC properties we have stayed at. If I was traveling around this great country of ours, we would probably only stay a few days. The longest we have stayed at one property so far has been 10 days at OKW.

How about you?

The longest I have stayed was 10 days at old key west many years ago. I would love to stay say a month.

We are planning on going on the WBTA cruise next year, which is 14 days, and that will be the longest "stay". I have a ways to wait until I can spend a month away anywhere. My kids are both still in school and both are very active outside of school. They would have to miss too much for us to stay any lenghth of time.

My kids are in college and I am still many many years away from retirement. It would be fun to stay a month in a one bedroom just not sure how many points that would take.

I suppose it would depend heavily on the time of year you want to go.

It's funny 'cause I was just looking at that. With our points, we might be able to manage a month at OKW in a studio in the least expensive season. Anything else, no way (oh, except for Hilton Head, but who wants to be at the beach in January, unless you live in the southern hemisphere?).

Oops, just checked again. We could only manage 3 weeks, not a month. Oh, well.

This will also be our longest vacation anywhere.

Lets just hope they don;t redo the points again.

Hi Everyone!

Just woundering are we talking about borrowing points for the month or having enough each year? I would say for each year we could do 2 weeks.
