I remember the hurricanes from when I lived in Massachusetts. Currently, we live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. So, we don't live near an ocean just lakes. - Jennifer

I was down in Fort Worth about this time last year, and boy was it hot already. I remember 90 degree days and it was early March. Too hot for me, I prefer 65 - 70 and a slight breeze. Of course, I'll "suffer" on the cruise this December too, just for my family ;)

Continuation of Dec. 8, 2007 Eastern Caribbean cruise mate listings. Room #'s too if you know them. We're in 8030. :cool1:

We are in 6586 same room as last year! We liked it so much that we rebooked it again! :thumbsup2

Thanks for posting. We'll keep in touch. Any little ones? We'll have our soon to be 5 grand daughter with us.

Anybody planning to go to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party on December 15th? :santa: We love MVMCP and haven't been for a few years. Tickets go on sale tomorrow.

We are staying at the Wilderness Lodge before the cruise, the week of December 3rd - 8th. So, I checked on MVMCP for our family for December 4, 6 or 7. I found it expensive (Advance Purchase: A = $43.62 C = $36.16 / Gate Price: A = $51.07 C = $43.62) in addition to park admission. We've seen the Travel Channel special on it and it looks magical. Is it worth it? Also, I know it is from 7 PM - Midnight. How do they get all the people that are already in the park to leave? That would seem like a huge ordeal. I know you receive a wrist band like EMH. But, you are still allowed to stay in the park for EMH even if you don't have a wrist band. You just can't do any of the rides. Just curious of the logistics. Thanks! - Jennifer

When we went a few years ago (three years in a row), our MVMCP tickets got us in the park, we did not need additional admission. At that time they closed the park, cleared it out, then let MVMCP people in and it worked well.

Last year we went to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and they did not close the park before they let us in. I don't think that worked well at all. I saw many upset people who did not have MNSSHP wristbands being told to leave. I saw a few moms having tantrums. When we walked in they were decorating Main Street and it took away from the excitment of seeing it ready.

We will go to MVMCP again but I don't think we will go to MNSSHP again.

So, you DON'T need to have a park ticket in addition to the MVMCP ticket, just the MVMCP ticket? If we don't have to waste a day on our Park Hopper, it might be worth the money$$. We could relax at the resort in the morning and head to MK in the evening. Looking at the dates, I am leaning towards December 4th. Because, I can't get the discounted rate for December 6th or 7th for some reason. I read on Allears.net they changed it that they don't close the park anymore. They "kick" the non-wrist band people out at 7 PM. That should be interesting. Also, it stated you can get into the park at 4 PM with the MVMCP ticket. That sounds great, we'd catch both fireworks displays. The more I look into it, the more I want to surprise my family with the experience. Thank you for the info! - Jennifer

Jennifer, what is the VIP services?
I would check with Disney to be sure you will not need a park admission for MVMCP. We did this a couple of years ago and it was very fun. They did make everyone without wristbands leave. As I recall they sent all of us with wristbands into Tomorrowland for a short time. It worked out great because they already had the free photo place set up and we walked right in without much of a wait. We also went ahead and stayed in Tomorrowland for a show with Minnie. No waiting in long line for that either as we were right there. The cookies and hot chocolate were a nice touch, the parade was great! We were there for much of the day though so we did use a hopper day. We had reservations at LTT at 5pm then got our bracelets and headed to Tomorrowland to start the party.

It's been a long day and it is going to be a long week! :confused3

We head for camp tomorrow and stay through Sunday for a Women's Retreat. Six men and 300 Women
