We have been on five Disney cruises and don't have any stamps on our passports.

Yes, I think you're right. You probably won't get a stamp on a trip to the Caribbean. I've been to Mexico many times, and only one time did I get a stamp on the way back, and that was from a flight from Mexico City to Ohare. Usually, we flew from Ohare to GWB International in Dallas, then to Chihuahua. We got stamps at the Chihuahua airport, but not coming back home.

I've got stamps from Brazil, Mexico, Korea, China, and Japan in my passport. I've got several visas stamped into my passport as well.

Well, we just put a hold on our flights out of Milwaukee. We're going to fly out on the 7th, and fly back on the 17th. That means we'll have part of Saturday (probably to nap and catch up), and Sunday before flying home early Monday. It was about $400 dollars cheaper to fly back on Monday, so it's about a wash once we get a hotel room for 6 and a car rental. So, we might as well stay, right?

We're talking about doing Sea World on Sunday. Any one have other suggestions. We're kind of thinking that WDW might be over the top for our family (I know, I'm sinning here, but we'll have just spent 7 nights on the Disney cruise), we might want a relaxing kind of day, and we'd prefer something without a lot of lines ;) Remember, we're now talking 2 adults, me and DW, and our four sons, 14, 9, 6 (Birthday on cruise), and 2 (Birthday on 17th).

 We're doing 8 days at WDW after the cruise (and 2 days before)

5 days at WDW before for us. I WISH we could do some time after! So, in answer to your question, I guess Brack and I do not think another day with Disney would be over the top. We have never done Sea World so can't comment on that. A day at Downtown Disney would even be fun without too much expense. Lots of shops and you can rent boats in the marina, take a free boat ride up to Saratoga Springs and Old Key West to look around. Olivia's at Old Key West is good for lunch.

Tour Guide Angie ;)

Brack, I don't do many movies. I see the Disney stuff when it comes out on DVD and maybe twice a year we go to the local movie house. Drive-in maybe once every other year or so. I think the second Pirates movie was the last one we went to the movies to see. Otherwise, I watch half a movie with Dennis here at home then go to bed. :sad2: He does enjoy movies alot though. ;)

:thumbsup2 That's the ticket! Downtown Disney. :woohoo:

Good morning everyone! We are getting closer! We booked this last May and I can't believe how the past year has flown by!

We still have to make flight arrangements. Southwest is only booking thru part of Nov. right now. I'll feel much better when we have our flight set.

We're probably driving because we are staying at WDW for over a week after the cruise. We leave on the 5th and get back home on the 23rd. :woohoo:

We are able to fly on miles for the first time! :thumbsup2 I booked as soon as we could since I heard that the seats available using miles fill up fast. I think that was good advice since my sister booked about a month ago using miles and was not able to get any flights on the days she needed. Poor Sis has to be in Orlando an extra day before we arrive and a day after we leave. ;) We may have to send her to Downtown Disney for a day! :)

I love flying on miles. In 2005, we were able to use our miles to fly to Oahu and Maui for our 40th anniversary. Looks like we will have enough to celebrate our 45th in Hawaii. Maui again and the Big Island.

Flying on Miles is great. I had a business trip to Brazil once, and had Business class tickets there and back. I got to the airport late, and at the gate counter when I went to check on my seat, the rep asked if I would be interested in switching to Coach as someone expressed great interest in moving up to Business class. The airline offered me an entire center row of seats (3 seats) and a travel voucher for $1000. I flew back in Business class too. It was a rough ride down in coach (I'm 6'3 and about 230 lbs), but it was worth it, that voucher was just like cash. I was able to fly out to New York with my wife and two oldest boys and still have $350 worth on the voucher.

The Business class stewardesses would come back to me and give me beers and were really nice about it. I even got the business class dinner.

My wife and I flew out to Tampa last year on my miles too. This year it's just not working out, because the airline is restricting FFM flights a lot more, and I don't want to take a 1 stop flight there and back with my wife and 4 kids. We've got a good rate out of Milwaukee, which is a lot closer than Ohare too.

:sad2: How sad it is to be made to stay in Orlando two extra days!

I'll do it!
:lmao:

Yes, Brack, I am really feeling sorry for her! :lmao: :rotfl2: She has never been there and just does not know what fun she is going to have! :woohoo:

DH(Bill) informed me that if families are "allowed" to stay at the hotel during his conference at WDW in September, then we get to go too. Yahoo! :cool1: I'll just need to scale back plans for our December WDW trip and save$$$$, save$$$$, save$$$$$ - Jennifer

I can't imagine that they would not be allowed, unless the participants are required to share rooms. :confused3 HAVE FUN!!!:woohoo:

Luckily, they don't make them bunk together. So, he always gets his own room for the conference. That shouldn't be a problem. They keep VERY busy at the conference day and night. So, I want to make sure we are not seen as a distraction. I told DH(Bill) not to worry about us though, we wouldn't be sitting in the room twindling our thumbs. It's DISNEY WORLD!:wizard: We'll see. I'm just waiting on approval from the higher-ups.:rolleyes1

We got our Castaway Club cards in the mail today! Yea!:cool1: However, they forgot DS7's card. He is a "Junior". So, they may have thought it was the same person. If his doesn't come in the next couple of days, I will call them. I know we don't really need the cards, just the numbers, but it is nice to have it in your hand. Anyone else on here who has previously cruised with DCL should be gettting yours any day now.

Oh I hope so. We just get so tickled when we get anything from Disney! :dance3: We got an advertisement from DVC yesterday, just a folded paper with Donald on it telling us we NEED to hurry up and buy more points before the price goes up and I was giddy! I showed it to DGS17 and he just :sad2: at me. :lmao: :lmao: We are really pathetic! :rotfl2:
