Boy, you're good! You recognized it right away! My DH wanted to have some fun with Iceman - so he wrote the blurb. I asked what it was, and he said don't you remember Star Trek & the Borg!!!

Thanks, one of my favorite shows...so much in fact I wanted to name DS Jean Luc(ok I would have spelled it John Luke) after the captain, but DH put his foot down and said no. :happytv:

We are renting bikes and floats at CC both days. Read on these boards that you can bike to the old runway now, so we can hardly wait!

We are doing Paradise Beach at Coz. DH did Atlantis last time and loved it!

We will make Palo ressies when we get on board. We only booked recently, so the online ressie was full.

We are a group of 3 and David & Ivan told us they had room for us on the tour w/lunch tour.

We leave a week from tomorrow!!!! :dance3:

[I'll make sure to print you up an itinerary so you know where to be at all times. ]

But Suzy, I was just going to follow you around... :worship: :rotfl2:

PJ53,

Bethipooh beat me to the Borg thing. It's the 1st thing I thought of. Iceman is now "7of9" in my book. Whenever, I hear the name Iceman I think of TopGun and Val Kilmer anyway. Sorry Iceman, resistance is futile.

Our excursions aren't in a binder but should be.

1st CC - DH is doing 9:45 ecotour. 2 float rentals for kids.
Sea Day - Palo Brunch 11:30
Costa Maya - D & I tour (all 4 of us) short tour no lunch Palo dinner 7:30
Cozumel - Atlantis sub 2:50 (might change to 12:50 if there's space)
Sea Day - Hopefully CB (if we get APL)
2 CC - 2 floats for kids

Is anyone doing or has anyone done Palo tea? Thoughts?

Im looking for girls 12, 13, or 14 to hang out with . Im 12 and turning 13 in september.

PJ53, et. al.,

Fortunately, I spend most of my time at 9AU from the Sun and I'm composed of mostly pure water ice with an average temperature of -201° C (that's really, really cold). This makes me immune to the insidious Disney and Mickey nano-probes. So, sorry, no assimilation is possible.

Iceman

Suzy, maybe you could work on my laundry when the ship is empty in Costa Maya! It is tempting but I have decided I'd rather live without sleep then do laundry ('course I will be complaining when I can't get a washer until 3 am but that's what naps are for)

THANKS everyone for taking care of David and Ivan's arrangements...too good, you guys are too good!

BTW, we leave Sat very early for our drive to FL and visit to the grandparents on the gulf coast...so I will be offline (and DYING to know what everyone is saying)...

But I have one more day to get my fill of plans!

Thanks again for getting the names set for the excursion
Barb

PS - Don't forget to NOT pack your state gift bags in your suitcase but put them in your carry on so you will have them for the meet

Hi everyone,

We leave on Monday for 5 days in the parks! We are so excited. Before we can go though, DS (10) has to come back home from a week at Boy Scout camp. Hopefully I will be able to get all of that laundry done so that he can have some clean shorts for the trip!!!!

We are renting floats for both days at Castaway Cay and DS and DH are going to be doing some snorkling. I just got the vests for them yesterday. We want to do the stingray excursion in CC too. I guess I need to get my act together and reserve that before all of the spots are taken.

My state bag is finally taking shape. I'm going to finish that up today. Can't wait to meet you all!

Iceman, sorry....you posted...you ARE one of the collective...

Barb and Michelle, Please have safe trips down to Florida. And anyone else who is leaving before me.... :confused3

We are hoping to get high tea ressies once we get on board, and have a girls only time there. We need to change/add some to our Palo reservations we have, hopefully we can.

Wow, this thing is really ramping up - we've even had 2 IceMan posts in the last 24 hours. BTW, what kind of keyboard works at -201° C? At that point, shouldn't you just convert to Kelvin? :goodvibes

Our excursions:
1st CC - Bottom Fishing @ 9:15 (FIL and BIL),
Eco-Tour @ 2:45 (Me, SIL1, SIL2, and BiL)

Monday - Palo @ 6 (We'll warm up the staff for you, Beth)

Costa Maya - Disney Ruins tour (Me, SIL1, SIL2, BIL, FIL) - Hi, Beth!

Cozumel - Submarine voyage (BIL, nephew), shopping for DW and MIL

2nd CC - Parasaling @ 2:30 (Almost everyone except BIL)

Saturday - Depart MCO, Arrive LAX. Officially enter post-cruise depression. :sad2:

Just found out a co-worker of mine will be joining us. He'll be on the Disney Ruins Tour, as well.

Happy Friday, everyone.

you know, i'd like to know that too! it must be really special. some weird nasa derived keyboard or something. haha. :rotfl2:

our schedule is:

1st cc: not sure when my sister scheduled the stingray excursion for, but it could be this day. otherwise we'll be biking early in the morning and snorkling.

monday: nada! ooo.. the rainforest room in the spa. that's what we'll be doing!

costa maya: david and ivan tour

cozumel: i'm hoping to go to chanknaab park and seeing the sites.

2nd cc: could be when we do the stingray. otherwise, see above.

i'm holding out until the cruise to see potc2. oh, and cars.

BP4,
These few posts were required to test my ice defenses againsts the D+M nano-probes and to look for any weaknesses before getting bombarded at WDW+the DC (you can consider it something like a booster shot). If necessary, I'd have to lower my thermal protection system from about 72° K (just for you DBMV) to near absolute zero. Fortunately, things are working very well and no major changes are necessary. I may have to slightly modify my assimilation fault protection algorithms to trigger sooner than normal due to the high concentration of disneyronium located in central Florida.

As for the keyboard (IB+DBMV)... I haven't used one of those in years ever since I implanted my Ka-Band cranium interlink system. This allows me to interface with the computer from great distances without difficulty.

Bethipooh, I was excited to hear someone shares my obsessive planning disorder. I am sure you are not the only one I share it with!

My DH and I have scaled down our excursion list due to the arrival of our new home (my dreamhouse) upon our return from vacation; the day after to be exact!

We also decided to spend 3 days at AKL prior to the cruise, with 2 day park tickets. So...

CC - renting bikes
Friday - Palo reservation

Both docks - getting off for self-guided tours

We are getting very excited. We will be leaving in 4 days. YIPPPEEE! :thumbsup2

PD for safe travels

The Borg!!! Between that and the Catholic school ruler, my DH will be very at home with this group! He actually pulled stuff out of his "pile" to be packed, something about wearing things more than once. What a male point of view!

Is it just me, or do you need more shoes when you cruise? I think someone commented a long time ago on the "shoe bag" and that is really true. At WDW, we mostly wear gym shoes.

I need to get my information organized in a day-by-day binder like Bethipooh! I was happy to get everything in one big folder.

We're doing Palo tea Monday at 3 pm, can't comment on how it is Roysbrew, it is our first time.

We're doing bike and float rental both days at CC but have never ridden the bikes there. I'm sure we'll do great :moped: and if we have an accident, we're finding Bethipooh to help with our care!!

We'll be doing the "Laundry Tour" with SJCSuzyQ in the morning of Costa Maya. Professorandmom (Barb) pack your laundry bag and drop it off on your way out so I can throw it in!

And Iggbees, we've been holding out on Cars and POC2 also! Not by choice, no time. But on the ship, there's time! popcorn::

We will be in the spa more than budget would like, but why not?

Safe travel to everyone leaving soon, we've got a week and can't wait! Thanks for making this pre-cruise time more fun! I think even Iceman is starting to thaw a bit. Here's Iceman on Formal Night :groom:

Iceman, you sound like Scotty in Star Trek IV -- "A keyboard? How quaint."

7 of 9 (aka Iceman) you now have more than a few posts.

Bethipooh, I found a lime green folder at target for $1 yesterday. All my stuff is know going in it. (I got nervous after your binder post.)

We are renting POC I to refresh our memories for POC II. Kids saw Cars when I had strep throat a few weeks back. I'm going to try to call about movies onboard. I will post any info I get.

Oh and DH changed his mind. Tux for formal night (instead of suit). Jacket for SF (instead of suit) and jacket for Palo. It was same amount of clothes really. My night clothes are suitcase ready. :cool1:

I am the shoe bag lady!!! My shoes have their own suitcase.... :rotfl2:

I do like the idea of the lime green folder, and I was just in Target...darn another reason to go back. I am sure I can find something to put in it. They also have lime luggage tags. I walked in my DD's apt and she had a lime green tote bag..I almost pounced on it....I did refrain myself and ask her nicely if I could borrow it....so instead of my disney tote, I am using the green one.....

Oh and just so everyone knows, the first aid kit is packed and ready to go...and so is the bubble wrap for the car.....pop pop pop pop :dance3:

Went to Sams today...the snorkle sets we were going to pick up last week, are now reduced to 22.00 instead of the 40.00 they were last week. Does anyone know if we have to pay for the vests at CC if we bring all our own other stuff?

I think Iceman is slowly thawing to the idea of being one of us....I still think we need to call him 7 of 9.. :rotfl:

Bethipooh,

I read on another thread the CC vests are free. They have some at the lifeguard stands and maybe nearthe snorkling area.

Thanks, I thought I heard the same thing....lets keep our fingers crossed...

I called DCL a couple of days ago to see what movies were playing while we cruised. They were very happy to give me the list. If you would like to know send me a PM.

I know my husband wants to be surprised, so I don't want to ruin the surprise for anyone else - therefore I won't post for those who want to be surprised.

We will be watching POC1 before we cruise. Can't get enough of Captain Jack and Will :lovestruc I was teaching summer reading this morning with a first grader who informed me that Will is "hotter than ever!" Straight from the mouth of babes...
