Hannah Montana concert -3D
Johnas Brothers concert -3D
race to witch mt
Hannah Montana the movie

confessions of a shop-aholic
and one more I cant remember what she said I wrote down B. T. S. ? She was talking fast. So this is what she said should be playing.

I was going to pick up some candy at the store popcorn::(when we stop to buy water) for the kids (movies) my oldest always buys that stuff when they sell it out side the door, and usually enough for his new group of friends. I'm trying to keep our "CRUISE" bill low so my DH doesn't freak out :scared1:the last day (it is his birthday) My daughter on the other hand loves buying pins for her landyard:rolleyes: not much I can do to cut back on them, Any one have a DISNEY coupon they'd be will to share:rotfl:

Thanks for the movie list! I would like to catch a late night viewing of Earth and I am sure the girls will get a kick out of Hannah Montana and Jonas 3-D on the ship!

I only activated charging privileges for Meghan this trip, but do find myself reconsidering as the trip grows closer. I think she would be responsible with the privilege, but just worry in the back of my mind I will have a call from GS wondering why our balance increased so fast!! Seriously though, I think I will leave it activated and just have a long talk with her before we board!

B. T. S. will be Bed Time Stories! I did not go see this last year cause I thought it would still be playing on the ship!

Thanks Royfam for doing that for us, I called yesterday, but it was after they closed and never had time to call today!:thumbsup2

My father in law finally received his birth certificate!!! :cool1:
So all he needs is that and his ID, correct?

Scott- Yeah we have that talk every cruise and honestly my kids do quite well. It's really my DH and I. Are last cruise was a 2 weeker (5 massages, Wine package plus DH upgraded one of the bottles, kids stuff, excursions) it really added up:scared1:We plan on being a little more AWARE of our spending this trip, only one massage on castaway;).

Oh yes... bought a copy of that on Bluray a couple weeks back but have yet to watch it. Maybe we will have our first family viewing on the ship instead!:thumbsup2

Yep, the BC and Drivers Lisc will take care of him for boarding and also on the following Saturday when we are all kicked off the ship!
But dont worry, if he misplaces the Birth Cert I am still willing to meet you at the terminal around 10am to help stuff him into a carry-on bag! :rotfl:

THAT'S it!!! Thanks

Oh, how I know all too well the ability to run up a hefty onboard tab! We have encountered that one too many cruises... and the first cruise for sure because we really didnt know what to plan. That reminds me to have the same spending chat with the adults in my party too!!

Just curious for anyone with a child who has visited Ocean Quest, what was your plan to keep in contact with your child, and how did it workout? Just trying to get some ideas because I know from reading the boards that asking the counselors down there to page us when DD wants to head out doesn’t work well.

I read some chat about having either a post-it note pad or dry erase board in the room and then asking your child to stop by anytime they leave Ocean Quest for more then a bathroom break or to grab a quick beverage to stop by the room and write what their game plan is. This sounded like a decent idea but wanted to see if anyone had past experience with Ocean Quest and how they handled their children coming/going from Ocean Quest?

Just booked this cruise for myself and my daughter. Her birthday is May 14th (28 years old) plus it being Mother's Day ... well, it just yelled out "book me". It's been a rough 4-5 months and she is a teacher in a very low income school that goes 12 months and her track break starts next week. Timing was perfect. So I booked her a ticket home to Orlando (she's a teacher in Las Vegas) and we're going to spend 7 days without computers, cell phones or anything to worry her. In November she had to break off her engagement (and a Disney wedding had been planned), then two weeks later my father passed away (my Dad and my daughter were very close) and then in January she had major surgery that had complications. She's also almost done getting her masters degree at night and has a month off from those classes in May too. So, we'll be there with you all!!! I'm counting the days!!!
Teena and dd, Jeanne. (P.S. I'm a cast member at WDW).
Cabin 2004

Welcome :cheer2::cheer2::banana::cool1:

Hi from a warm but a bit cloudy Orlando! Just had a quick catch up to see how everyone is getting on :surfweb:
Mickey sends hello to you all ::MickeyMo
Lyn

Happy to see you made it safely to Orlando... have a blast while we all sit at home and worry about that darn swine flu! :headache:

We just hopped on the list and was curious what the FE looks like and what type of gifts are given/received. Thanks for your help! We are so excited!:yay:

Just wanted to check in to see how your FE research mission is going? :)

I NEED A VACATION!!!!:banana::banana:

OMG!!! I so cannot even tell you how much I agree with you! If work gets any crazier between now and then I may just scream. Someone turned in their notice today and their last day will be the first Monday that we are at Sea. Oh well I Can't feel bad about it. It's not my fault. I planned this trip over a year ago and there is no way I can change it now. I am sooooo ready to hit the High Seas with my family and my new Dis friends. Well and that awesome mouse too..LOL...Next Friday at 4 PM cannot get here fast enough.

Okay, how can you plan/book a trip 14 months ago and not be prepared for it!!!!

I am feeling crazy stressed trying to get everything done! Not like I didn't have plenty of time to get this all figured out.

We leave on the 6th and I am freaking out. I can't wait to get on that plane to feel that relief. What ever was not done will wait, whatever was forgotten will need to be purchased!

Royfam, I think you are living at my house!!! That is just about what my house looks like. Oh well there is always tomorrow to get a little caught up.

Have a great night!

Thanks,
Kim

T shirts FINISHED, That's one mess I can put away:cool1:

Scott- Yep we used the white board they worked out great even if I had to leave a message for my DH. One time My DH took our kids swimming some how my DD cut her foot open at the pool and they had to go to the infirmary. Well I was doing laundry:laundy:(can't even get away from it on vacation) my son couldn't find me so he left a message on the board, when I got back to the room to drop everything off I saw the message and knew to go to the infirmary instead of the pool. My 2 oldest kids have both been in there on our last 2 cruises and I loved not having to run back to check them out all the time ( I do that enough with Josh) If I needed to get Josh ready for bed I could and they could finish up their activities and then come back to the room. I always gave them a few extra min after their activity was over to get back. Now 90% of the time they were together which made me feel a little safer, This time they are not:scared:
My DD thought it was pretty cool to hear from your DD today. she said it was cool having a friend say "11 more days":cheer2: ( NOW ALMOST 10)

I spent the better part of my day off today doing last minute preparations for our trip. Our confirmation/itinerary binder is about as thick as a dictionary.

I can't believe we fly out Friday evening. After a two day pit stop to attend a wedding, we'll be arriving at AKV on Sunday. It's cute that my 3yo is now counting sleeps until we leave. She wants to ride Dumbo first and wants to meet all of the Princesses but Cinderella first. Sheesh, no pressure dad!

I guess I have one less thing to stress about now that my beloved San Jose Sharks were embarrassed out of the first round of the playoffs. Now I don't need to sneak away to a TV or radio every chance I get to listen in while at the parks or on the ship. I like to call it my WDW curse. It seems that every time we are there, my sports team of choice gets eliminated from the playoffs.

If anyone would like to pay my way to WDW when the team you love to hate is playing, PM me and I'll start packing my bags! :lmao:

Well it sounds like the board came in very handy for your family! Did you hang it inside of the stateroom?

As for laundry, even on our 4-night cruises we still seemed to find ourselves in there doing a load or two… so I imagine we will have no luck escaping on a 7-night cruise!

Meghan and Mariah have seemed to hit it off pretty well thus far for sure! Hopefully they can be buddies at OC too and neither of us will have to worry about our DD’s walking to/from there alone most of the time.

I am a Steelers Fan so if for some odd reason the Browns make it into the playoffs I may just hook you up with the magic trip!!

No matter how much I wish I were home for the Bay and the food (and family of course), I can say I've missed my Sharks season tix most since I moved to the wilderness...I mean Las Vegas. But they have been one of the best teams in the league for years and yet they continue to break our hearts with gutless playoff performances. They blew the best chance we may ever get this time...I'm not sure how much longer I can take the derision of Red Wings fans! And the DUCKS???AGAIN??? REALLY???
Sigh - I might need to go on a cruise or something to forget this one...
At least the 9ers got a stud WR in the draft!
